The switch is ok if you can still adjust it. I think kung malamig pa din di naman sira ang thermostat. ung wire nya o ung tube di nailagay o naipwesto ng maayos sa loob ng evaporator it is a part of the thermostat itself. try to check it out if my hanging na black wire with black glossy tip sa ilalim ng passenger dashboard mo or my visible na copper tube na sobra nipis. Some design it is enclosed sa evap some naman nasa tapat mismo ng bugahan ng hangin. kapag maayos naman ang pagkakalagay ten i would think the thermostat might be shot.
