3 compressors in 10 years. Pa-check mo maigi cooling system mo. Or baka surplus yung last 2? IMO, invest ka sa brand new. Tsambahan kasi pag surplus.
Yup, yung Sanden, pwedeng palitan yung mga ibang parts, unlike the Calsonic in my Nissan, na disposable daw.

Try to stick with the original compressor so you won't have to modify the brackets. Just be sure you get an original one, not the surplus, para lang mas sure ka sa quality. Ask about possible warranties rin. Are you maintaining your cooling system well? Baka kinukulang sa lubrication yung compressor kaya maagang bumibigay at umiingay (I'm no aircon expert, though). On the other hand, OK rin naman siguro yung Sanden kung trip mo talaga, since marami namang marunong magayos nun.

i think i also answered your query sa MMPH.
but for the benefit of everyone, my opinion is that since the price difference is 2k, i think you have to go to the OEM compressor, so everything will be plug and play na.
although, if you find the difference of 2k really significant, i think getting the SANDEN compressor is also ok. kaya lang, retrofitting it and adapting new racks, may also cost you around 1k.

You might have an idea.
brand new compressor(sanden 507) = 5,000
drier = 350
expansin valve = 120
labor(cleaning/flushing included) = 1,500
total cost = 6,970
I also inquird at EEB marketing for sanden 507 compressor, price is 5,500.
I eventually bought my compressor at jovenette marketing, address is 1978 e. rodriguea, cubao tel 722-0272. Brand new naman nabili ko at di surplus.
Now im happy with the results.

for me siguro kung san ka makakatipid dun na lang, tas para maiwasan na masira ulet, have your aircon system cleaned once a yr, sabi kasi sakin ng mga aircon specialist high pressure ang 1 main cause ng pagkasira ng mga compressor. and make sure na brand new talaga yung compressor, for me kasi lahat ng parts may "lifespan", so mas sulit pera kung brandnew
