3 compressors in 10 years. Pa-check mo maigi cooling system mo. Or baka surplus yung last 2? IMO, invest ka sa brand new. Tsambahan kasi pag surplus.

Yup, yung Sanden, pwedeng palitan yung mga ibang parts, unlike the Calsonic in my Nissan, na disposable daw.

Try to stick with the original compressor so you won't have to modify the brackets. Just be sure you get an original one, not the surplus, para lang mas sure ka sa quality. Ask about possible warranties rin. Are you maintaining your cooling system well? Baka kinukulang sa lubrication yung compressor kaya maagang bumibigay at umiingay (I'm no aircon expert, though). On the other hand, OK rin naman siguro yung Sanden kung trip mo talaga, since marami namang marunong magayos nun.

i think i also answered your query sa MMPH.
but for the benefit of everyone, my opinion is that since the price difference is 2k, i think you have to go to the OEM compressor, so everything will be plug and play na.

although, if you find the difference of 2k really significant, i think getting the SANDEN compressor is also ok. kaya lang, retrofitting it and adapting new racks, may also cost you around 1k.

You might have an idea.

    brand new compressor(sanden 507) = 5,000
    drier = 350
    expansin valve = 120
    labor(cleaning/flushing included) = 1,500

    total cost = 6,970

I also inquird at EEB marketing for sanden 507 compressor, price is 5,500.
I eventually bought my compressor at jovenette marketing, address is 1978 e. rodriguea, cubao tel 722-0272. Brand new naman nabili ko at di surplus.

Now im happy with the results.

Nung nagpalinis ako ng aircon ng 96 Sentra ko last Dec. 2005, siningil ako ng 1.1k and 900 for the exp. valve and drier! Tapos replacement lang yun.

asus - r12 parin, medyo di na aabot budget ko that time kung r134 kukunin ko na compressor bec madami papalitan. Sa ibang panahon nalang ako magpapa-convert. I just need my aircon to be fixed.

Galactus - ganun talaga price ng expansion valve and drier for my car corolla ae92. I suppose price differs on each type of car.

Asus, forgot the name of the shop. Starts with letter M... along boni ave lang. from cityhall circle going to edsa. right side, just before you reach danny's aircon and carwash.

actually hindi ko talaga dun plano magpagawa bec wala pa ako tiwala. sa ceejay ko sana gusto pero malayo, so i gambled on that shop since wala naman silang repair na gagawin, install compressor and cleaning lang. So far ok naman.

Make sure you flush the entire aircon system. There could be black oil left in the system. It's very unusual to have 3 compressors replace in just 10 years. Most of the cars i had never replaced aircon compressors in te life of the car except my last one. My air con guy used air compressor and a certain chemical to removed black oil and debris left. If your system is drained you can see if there is black oil or dirt. This will damage even your brand new compressor as well as other parts if not cleaned.
