My 1996 Civic Vti developed a leak in the upper part of the radiator. I was told that some shops do conversions and replace the plastic top of the radiator to a metal one. However, I plan to replace it with an OEM surplus na lang instead of having it repaired. I'm just curious if the radiator of the 1999-2000 Civics is better (metal top?) and if it would fit my ride. Hope you can share some info regarding this. TY.

Evercool comes highly recommended (as aforementioned). If you want to repair your stock radiator, Denso makes parts to replace the broken portions.

I'll just have it repaired. I learned that OEM surplus radiators for EK Civics is a "hot" commodity and therefore scarce nowadays. TY.

repairing won't last as long. plus it will look ugly with all the welds and metal epoxy pa nga sometimes. go for either evercool or oe surplus imo.
