MG Motor Philippines has officially started customer deliveries of the G50 PHEV following its public debut at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
The first batch of units was turned over at MG Alabang, with the plug-in hybrid MPV already generating strong market interest. MG’s 7-seater MPV has secured over 800 reservations since its unveiling in April.
Powered by a plug-in hybrid system, the MG G50 PHEV combines electric driving capability with the flexibility of a gasoline engine for longer trips. MG claims a factory-rated combined driving range of up to 1,415 km.
It’s positioned as a family-oriented MPV and offers a spacious cabin and modern technology features aimed at buyers looking for a more practical entry into electrified mobility.
“This turnover represents an exciting milestone for MG Motor Philippines as we begin delivering the G50 PHEV to our customers,” said Wei Wei Zhang, President of MG Motor Philippines. “We are encouraged by the positive response to this model, and we remain committed to providing Filipino motorists with innovative mobility solutions that combine performance, efficiency, and everyday usability.”
The G50 PHEV also marks another step in MG’s growing electrified vehicle lineup in the Philippines as more buyers begin exploring hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
