for steering pump/motor I would go for surplus. for hoses i would recommend that you go to a shop that specialize on hydrualic hoses for heavy equipment. 1/4 lang ang price nito compared sa oem brands. Same (or mas) durability nito as oem.

New to the board here. I just want to ask you guys coz I'm going to replace the rear shocks of my car. Is there any other part that I need to have replaced along with it? I remember that when I had my front shocks replaced a couple of months ago, I also had some other part replaced with it, I just forgot what specifically.

    Hi 111prez,
I also drive a Ford Lynx and having a problem of erratic rpm especially notable on breaks stops. With your post, I think the solution done by your repair shop might do the trick. Can you give me directions to your pasay repair shop? thanks I'll appreciate it.

    How about suspension bushings?

are jap replacements like JAC, Loko good enough?

Does somebody can recommend OEM comfort and equal or better durability?

    TIA.

Never heard of JAC before. I usually use original Three Five (555) and KYB (Kayaba).

I prefer OEM because they had an assurance in there quality and also in terms of safety..

I already tried re-con or surplus parts and they last only for months

    THANKS

konti lang difference ng oem sa casa and shops sa labas. kung malapit ka sa casa ng honda save gas and just buy there.

Download from the internet the suggested mileage.

I recommend 555 for underchassis parts
KYB for shocks fluid types are the best for our road condition.
Ferodo for brakes. (cheaper but passable performance Rspec)
GMB for water pumps, crossjoints and tensioner bearings (beware of the china made)
    KOYO, NTN, NSK for bearings
CVPro for cv joints (for cheaper but passable performance GSP or F1)
Aisin and Daikin Exedy transmission parts.
Jac for supports or go for M7 rubber bushings
Splitfire for lights, spark plugs. (Bosch is okay too, but for lights use Narva)
    Vic for filters
Corteco/NOK oil seals for corollas go for the original specially for power steering.
Gates and Bando timing belts and fan belts
Sanden for aircon compressor (if you have lots of money Denso)
    email me for other questions

Got my car via company car loan. It has to be casa maintained. So I have eno other option. On the bright side, while the loan is not fully paid, per year up to a certain limit, I can reimburst 50% of my maintenance cost.

ferodo brake pads is usually found in banawe ...

ferodo is harder than most brake pads ... but its asbestos free and nice quality ... you can also try bendix softer and less noise but the problem is mabilis maubos ... especially when you drive matic cars
