PROMDIBOY, maraming naguguluhan sa LAW about window tinting. Usually, kapag nasita ka ng pulis, sasabihin sayo na bawal. yung ibang nasisita ng pulis, hindi alam na may amendment (year 1999) sa LAW allowing you to have a tint:
It must let 88% of the light pass through it.
this is what I would do when I get pulled over.
As I recommended to someone else just take the ticket, cause pointing out the cops' mistake will only make him look for something else to write you up on, Then go to his station and inform the desk sergeant (or whoever is manning the desk), of the issuing officers mistake on the law. In my case he was called in from the field, and made to reverse the ticket (as well as eat crow publicly) right there on the spot, it never went to the courts.
Tickets issued by the Police are just another way of State Sponsored Extortion as outline in www.ticketassasin.com

Nice Karding ... pogi points :p
Ako din nag patint two weeks ago. Talagang nakaka tulong ang tint sa init. Maski bawal ;) Ako nag palagay ng 35% fronts and 20% rears.

spazzkid, you can get away with it too kapag yung manufacturer ng tint may certificate na nagpapatunay na the tint is to reduce UV Rays. Minsan, depende sa pulis, lalo na kapag mga haters at may topak. masyadong vague ang pakasulat ng Law about tinting that when you fight it in court, judge would likely dismiss your case. Not in my case, pumupunta talaga ako ng court
FLiPMaRC, bawas yata pogi points, di na kita yung pogi sa loob  :p hahahahaha

thanks momoy. nag observe ako and here it goes...
1. linis outside windows
2. may spray bottle with built-in torch!!
3. Then binasa yung outside windows ng spray bottle (amoy shampoo).
4. nilagay yung film sa labas ng windows
5. window shape is being traced and cutted at the same time.
6. nilinis inside windows
7. nilipat yung traced/cutted film from outside to inside.
8. spray spray at paminsan minsan eh may torch.
the good thing about this shop, lifetime warranty!!! super packed ang shop, mabuti na lang ma-aga ako dumating. Pero mura lang, sa other shop, I was quoted $260.00 all around. Then dito nga, $135.00 all around lang.
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
