removing old tint and replace with new.

had 3m tint installed on the windshield of my new sorento.. problem is that over the holidays, may malaking bula sa corner na lumobo.. binalik ko sa kanila. they are willing to replace the entire tint on the windshield pero di na nila sagot kung madamage yung windshield pag kinutkot nila yung adhesive, dahil daw yung 3M makapit yung adhesive.

di ko alam if it's just an alibi or kung risk ko talaga yun..

any advice ? TIA

Alibi, meron talaga chance na magasgas yun glass kung tatanga-tanga yun gagawa, but meron talagang tool na pan scrape ng old tints..Ewan ko king meron sila nun

alibi. kahit sabihin pa nila na free yung tint e sagot pa din nila kung magasgas yung windshield. saka may gamit naman pantanggal ng adhesive.

Popular place and highly rexommended pa naman yun. Araneta car accessories. Paid 2300 para dun. Syempre ako yung dehado dito. Kausapin ko na lang si jeff tan siguro.

I've had our vans re-tinted on a few occasions.

Yes pantanggal nila is a metal scraper - at the casa is where they did that and I watched them do it. Sagot daw nila if they damage the windows so I told them before they start applying the new tint let me inspect that there's no damage then I'll give them the greenlight.

And lo and behold they guy scratched one of the windows. It was small though about 3 inches scratch. Chose not to pursue anything with them, hassle. But 14 months since the tint and nothing more has developed from the scratch.

3 inches ? ang laki nun ha.. mas critical kasi pag windshield.. sino bang recommended sa window tinting ?

magkano ba magpa tint ng windows yung 3m, kung wala nang tatanggalin na tint sa kotse ko, ako na mismo nagtanggal at malinis na,

balita ko mahal din kasi magpatanggal ng tint sa mga autoshop, pero kung lagay tint kaya may bawas yun? dito sa starosa laguna mahal

kasi magpalagay ng 3m nasa 4500..

Three inch graze lang. Not a chip or anything. And besides, the tint covered the scratch.

I just got four windows tinted for P450 per window ( P1,800 Total) platinum black tint - seemed reasonable to me not sure what current rates are.

Took them 3-4 hours because the existing tint i had left hard pandikit sa glass. My old tint was platinum mirror tint.

for windshield, ok ang 30-40% VLT and higher. if malinaw mata mo, pwede kahit 20% VLT.
