Plate Glass?

hindi ba panagbabawal ang plate glass??? kasi diba madilim sya halos hindi na makita ang plate number.....

There are legal tempered glass plate protectors sold by Aguila Auto Glass and [not sure if they still do] Republic Asahi.

Those super dark plate protectors/holders are considered illegal. You can call the attention of the local police on the street when you see one. I did and they flagged down the vehicle.

How would I know what is legal or not? I can see most automobiles with the bluish colored glass plate and there are those in darker blue.

i use plate glass on our rides. 1st off, its for the protection of the plate (para di madudumihan, as much as possible) and secondly, it make the car look good. our plate glasses are 1 brown glass and a clear one..both are clearly visible at night.

ang kailangan ipagbawal/hulihin is yung mga naka-plate glass PERO nilalagyan nila ng dark tint yung glass..to make the darker effect look..sometimes sa sobrang dark nung tint halos wala ka nang makita from afar, you need to be 1 meter in front/back of the car and squinting your eyes just to make out the plate number.

so okey lang yung plate glass except sa dark tint color? kasi balak kong maglagay kaya lang baka bawal? salamat sa mga nag-response!!!!

mas okey din kung may glass kasi easy to clean and safety ang mga stickers.. tama ka nga dyan zechs wla kwentang plate glass protector na maitin ang look.. parang takot makilala ang plate number nila..

ang disadvantage ng plate glass ay daling ma crack kpag na bato ng stone.. sayang pera..

ano bah yung brand na glass na matibay zechs? ano gamit mo?

Marami naman ako nakita plate protector mukhang wala syang tint pero SUPER LABO... either lumabo ung plastic or madumi sa loob, pwede kaya ipahuli to?

Even plate numbers obstructed by rear ladders, bullbars, etc. can be flagged down. License plates should be clearly visible from the front and rear even if you are viewing them from the cabin of another vehicle.

so yung "DEFLECTOR" na plate glass pwede yun? Kasi yung aluminum part niya kasi pagtinamaan ng headlight minsan nakakasilaw eh..

AFAIK, Deflector is legal. Most pickup truck bumpers have a larger reflective surface than its polished edges.

parang hindi hinuhuli kasi daming plaka na may dark blue plate glass ngayon. hindi mo na mabasa plate number. dati green colored nauso pero at least, clearly visible pa rin plate number.

i see some cars with TILTED DOWN plate numbers. (JDM plate holders ata tawag dun) So parang hindi na rin nakikita yung plate number niya.. DAPAT BAWAL ITO DIBA??

Dami ko nakikita na tinted na plate cover as in dark tinted pa yung plate cover nila..Jazz, Accord, Civic sa school ko pa lang yun..
