I just want to get feedback on Nano-Tech. Maganda ba to? Is this better than VKool and Huper Optik? Sabi sa shop, maganda daw to kasi walang signal interference.

Just installed Nano-tech tint yesterday. I'm still observing it. Had super black on the sides, medium at the rear and neutral at the front.

Below are the specs:

Using IR heat rejection in advertisements is misleading the consumers. The only accepted industry standard for heat rejection is TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected).

Also, each tint variant will provide different TSER values and not just a single value as advertised by the mentioned shop.

Super Black: VLT = 8%, TSER = 58%
Medium Black: VLT = 15%, TSER = 55%

Tint series that belong to same tier will provide comparable (but not exact) heat rejection performance.

Tint series that belong to higher tier generally costs more.

After few days of testing it, so far okay naman. Pag pasok mo sa loob galing bilad, hindi masyado luto ang leather seats pati dashboard kaya mabilis lumamig ang aircon. Tapos pag dinikit mo yung kamay mo sa salamin, parang andun lang ang init. Sa gabi, ok lang din ang neutral black.

Yung lancer ko, 3m nakakabit sa harap pero grabe ang init, tapos sa gabi malabo talaga. Mahirap ibiyahe ng probinsiya lalo na sa mga lugar na walang ilaw. Pag bili ko nun nakakabit na kaya di ko alam ang specs ng 3m pero tingin ko magic sya. No offense sa naka 3m. Just sharing my personal experience. Kaya nung makuha ko yung bagong car, I opted for Huper Optik and Vkool based sa mga review dito. Kaso wala daw Vkool sa LA at yun na lang daw ang pinakamataas nila na inooffer. Tingin ko naman di naman sila gagamit ng di maganda kaya di na rin ako naghanap sa iba.

Satisfied din naman ako sa performance ng tint.

Yung kabit, so far, wala pako nakikita bubbles. Di ko pa sya naiinspect ng maigi.

I'm having nanotech clear 9060 installed on my windshield. I'll post feedback in a week after I've tested it. For the charcoal series they quoted the price of P8500 for the rest of the car. 10 yrs warranty from a Japanese made tint brand. Sounds comparable to vkool in specs so I'm interested to see how it compares.

I had mine done at LA cars in makati. Installation was good with no bubbles. Very nice lounge area inside the shop while you wait for the tint job.

I have a correction regarding the warranty. The Nanotech clearsky 9060 has 10 years warranty. The others have 5 years warranty. I'm thinking of having the reflective series installed since it has a higher TSER percentage than the charcoal series. Nanotech clear on the windshield then Nanotech reflective for the rest sounds good to me for the price to performance balance.

After a week of testing the nanotech clear tint on my vitara, I can say that I am very pleased with it. It reduced the need for my AC to constantly turn on to keep the car cool. Before I would have to turn the AC to level 3 just to keep the car cool but now after installing nano tech level 1 is good enough for the average daytime sun.

Comparing the heat that gets through the nanotech windshield tint and the old 3m tint on my windows, I can say the heat that penetrates is way less on the nanotech side. Definitely having the old 3m on my windows replaced by nanotech soon so I can enjoy complete coverage.

Just had my 2006 Civic tinted with Nano-Tech VIP at LA Cars over the weekend.

Medium Black for the windshield and Super Black all around. Took around 3 hours to do it, since they had to remove the old tint.

Honestly, I'm quite satisfied with the visibility at night. Used to drive the company Revo equipped with 3M Superblacks all over, and driving it at night was difficult. Pero mukhang mas ok ang heat rejection ng 3M (don't know the exact variant though). Kahit babad sa araw kasi yun, hindi ganun kainit pag pasok mo sa Revo. Not unllike the Nano-Tech, 3 hours pa lang nakababad sa araw last Wednesday (March 20), mainit agad sa loob.

What about visibility, especially at night. Is it still clear?

I've decided to take my Ford Escape to LA Cars and tinted with Nano-Tech Shaded, medium dark film. My ride had 3M Super Black, not sure what series it is, and I have to replace it because of my night driving concerns.

Only the front windshield remains untouched, because of the LTO sticker. The techs there couldn't remove the sticker in one piece. So I have to wait early next year for the car's renewal. Maybe they'll offer this again next year.
