Huper Optik Tint

Hi NdoyMan and others,

Need your advice please.

I have a new Innova. I want to place a tint on my windshield. I purposely did not have it installed from CASA coz I am particular about the specs.

Here's what i currently have:
- Sides and rear have 3M FX ST05 free sa CASA

Here's what's I need on my windshield
- Similar shade as the 3M FX ST05. This 3M is not the mirror type, so dapat ganun dun sa windshield para bagay
- I have 20/20 vision but I am concerned that I might not be able to see well at night or when raining. I have another car with a 3M tint sa windshield but I don't remember what 3M variant and blackness it is. I have no probelems driving there
- Very high TSER (around 60% and above) but acceptable light should still pass through
- maintain privacy. tipong silhouette n lng makikita sa loob
- budget of 3k

I want Vkool sana but I don't know if this fits my budget. Plus I read in this post about Huber Optik which seems to be a good alternative to Vkool. I live in Pasig, so Fort Bonifacio and Libis are close to my home.

naku Sir, 5K po para windshield. di po tayo uubra dun sa 3K na budget nyo. Closest na pwede mong palagay is Ceramic 15 kaso wala talagang shade na sasakto dun sa ST05 na gusto mo.

btw, ceramic 15 ang may pinaka malaking percentage in terms of heat rejection.

Hi NdoymaN! Ask ko lang kung meron din tinting booth sa Mazda, Ford or Hyundai dito sa Dagupan area. I'm planning kasi to get a Mazda CX 5 and and use this tint. I hope you can PM me the cost (windshield, side and back). Thanks

only c70 sir has the highest heat rejection sa mga lighter shades.

Actually, samen lang talaga.. Pwede tayong mag install sa mga dealerships namen or pwede rin home service.. hingi nalang kameng pang transpo fee pag malayo talaga kase galing palang ng Pampanga mga installers naten.

Sakin na kayo dumeretso at ako ng bahala lalakad dito kase ako rin humingi ng approval sa mga discounts sa mga members dito.. para diretso nalang yung pag approve.

Sir NdoymaN, i would like to ask if your installers perform double tinting? i am not sure of the right term but what i am planning is to put another film say the Huper Optic Ceramic 60 or 70 series on top my current windshield tint.

I am not really satisfied with the present tint, ang lawak kasi ng glass sa harap kaya ramdam ko pa rin yong init. My reason not to remove the old one.., laki ang na damage ko nito!!
Well, this is the 4th tint installed, mula from casa's free 3M (total crap ) to Solargard titanium 16, then to GSG 10(sobrang dilim sa gabi ) then to the current one. And the consequences of removing them resulted to noticeable hair line scratches mismo sa glass... Sides, quarter panels and rear has no problem, using Solargard GSG10.

My ride is a Jazz'10, presently using Solargard LX40 on my windshield. Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks.

Nagpakabit ako ng Huper Optik last Monday sa Ford Libis. Ceramic 20 all around except windshield. Heat rejection is very good although bitin kasi wala pa tint yung windshield kasi wala C30 na available. Pero ramdam mo talaga yung difference in heat na nanggagaling sa windshield at sa sides na tinted.

There is one thing lang na nabobother talaga ko, specifically dun sa rear glass. Meron mga white areas na nakikita on certain angle mo siya titignan, mas obvious siya pag may direct light na tumatama. I found out na yun pala yung mga areas na ginamitan ng heat gun. Sa ibang forum "ghosting" yung tawag nila.

Yung mga bilog, yun yung bubbles na aabutin daw ng 1 month bago mawala. May mga certain angles lang na kita siya.
Minsan yung taas lang, minsan yung baba, or left/right lang. Depende sa tama ng ilaw at kung san mo siya titignan.

Although na-raise ko nanaman ito kay Sir Leo(sabi niya let it cure muna for at least a month), baka pwede pa-assess na din nung concern ko. Hindi ko kasi mapakita sa kanya yung pics. Baka po kasi nasobrahan ng gamit ng heat gun nung sa akin? Para mapapalitan ko na siya agad habang hindi pa fully cured, baka kasi ma damage na yung defogger kung after a month pa papalitan. Or kung normal lang talaga yun at mawawala din totally after 1 month? Para na din ma-inform yung mga future huper optik owners para hindi sila magulat.

Concern ko rin kasi yung sa windshield kasi if I'm not mistaken kailangan din siya gamitan ng heat gun since hindi din flat yung glass. Baka maging ganun din itsura(on certain angles) ng windshield pag nagpakabit na ako ng C30.

Yup Lang talagang clear na clear parang walan naka install na tint , me blueish shade Lang. ANG sarap sa night driving clear n clear at sa noontime, the tint speaks for itself . 100% recommended

Ikaw pala yun naka Dmax sir, ako yung nauna sayo, yung naka Toyota Sienna.
