Huper Optik Tint

Had Huper Optik installed on my Mirage this morning at Kia North EDSA. C30 sides and rear, C70 windscreen plus C15 visor. It's pricey, pero kung maselan ka sa tint (lalo na sa mga malabo ang mata katulad ko) it's worth it.

The C70 on the windscreen is excellent. Mararamdaman mo pa rin naman yung init pumapasok sa windscreen but the heat doesn't sting unlike if there's no tint or the windows are down. Was puttering around town at 2PM with my AC set at 28 degrees. :D

The installer, Mike was very helpful. Many thanks to sir NdoymaN for being quite accommodating.

Unfortunately no pics yet since I forgot my camera. Jologs lang phone ko yung Nokia na di flashlight! :D

Nice touch of refinement during installation. Not bad after paying 20k to get your car tinted!

My personal comparison of TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected) data among brands. Do take it with a grain of salt.

Tint series that belong to same tier will provide comparable (but not exact) heat rejection performance.

Tint series that belong to higher tier generally costs more.

Tier 1:
V-Kool VK and X series
Huper Optik (All)
SolarGard LX series
3M CR series

Tier 2:
V-Kool K series
Nano-Tech (All)
SolarGard HP and Sterling series
3M BC and CS series

Tier 3:
V-Kool OEM series
SolarGard Non-HP series
3M FX series

Consider also the warranty length. 5-7 years warranty are pretty common now.

I added a little extra for the visor. Nakapatong siya over the windscreen full tint. Wala kasi yung Mirage nung dot matrix black out around the rear view mirror so I decided to add in a darker tint for the visor.

I'll try to get some night pics once I get hold of a better camera.

Unfortunately, the Ceramic series is all metallic/magic. More of a black/dyed tint guy, but miraculously hoping for comparable heat rejection.

Hi Sir!! Kung much cheaper po sa inyo ung huper optik, sa inyo na lang po. pa-pm po sakin yung price para ma-compare ko po.. if ever sa inyo po ako kukuha, inform ko po agad kayo kapag available na yung unit. TIA..

Correct me if I am wrong po. Are you referring to the shade of Huper Optik wherein mejo nag mimirror po sya?

BTW, Huper Optik is a multi-layered Nano Ceramic Window film po.
