June 21st, 2003 11:36 AM #1I really need your help guys.
we removed my car's windshield, in effect destroying the rubber seal around it, I can't seem to find a replacement for it. My car is a 91 civic, so part are hard to come by.
What are my alternatives? can I put in a good quality sealant instead of a rubber seal, or can I buy 1 of those naka-rolyo na seal.
what brand can you recommend and where to buy from?
Thanks

June 21st, 2003 01:58 PM #4The problem with other solutions is that baka di ma-align ng maayos yung windshield mo. Sa factory rubber seals, it maintains factory alignment with the interior trim panels and exterior frame so it sits where its supposed to.

June 21st, 2003 07:56 PM #5So far sa casa na natanong ko, walang stock, it's a special order, and will take a while.
problem talaga sa parts yung model ko, since only few units came into the country.
Just to clarify this is the inner seal, the 1 that is sandwiched between the chassis and the glass, yung outer seal/moulding ok pa.
ironarch,
I agree w/ you but it seams I have little choice
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
