Fellow tsikoteers, which would you advice is a better option for a full tint:

    3M front- BC 35 , sides/back- BC 20

    Solarguard front- Quantum 38, sides/back- Quantum 19

in terms of durability, night visibility, heat rejection & cost.

    Thanks.

solarguard. have used it dun sa lancer ko for 9 years, ni hindi nagbago ang kulay, hindi nagbago ang quality from the time it was installed up to the time i sold the car.

    ganda din ng heat rejection.

cost is mas mura ng onti ang 3M, pero onti lang naman ang difference.

yung BC dark shade, yung quantum mirror effect.

kung sa brand i will prefer solargard, then i will get the hp or xg series.

mas maganda solargard pero mas mahal. siguro if you will be keeping your car for 2 or more years, solargard ka na. pero kung may plan ka din ibenta ang car mo sooner, 3M na lang. yung iba nga yung mumurahin ang binibili kasi tuwing summer lang siya nagtitint. pag ber months na, pinapatanggal na nya.

if you can change your brand choice go for Llumar brand of TINT . for 5 years in my car the color and the visibility didn't change , it even won't make a mirror reflection when your inside of the car ! heat rejections is also good !

TOLT talaga ang v-kool pero it costs way much more.

If i were you, get the Solargard brand. I replace my SUV's tint from 3m to SG.

I dont know about Llumar yet.

if you want clear tint, go for 3m CR series.

FYI, fellow car enthusiasts, all 3M auto tints are from USA. Read the FAQs. I dunno why there are claims that 3M are now from China/Korea/Taiwan. But they are all made in USA.

    3M BC10: 72%
    3M BC20: 68%
    3M BC35: 53%

Solar Gard HP Quantum 14: 61%
Solar Gard HP Quantum 19: 57%
Solar Gard HP Quantum 28: 50%
Solar Gard HP Quantum 37: 48%
Solar Gard HP Quantum 52: 41%

3M BC35 all-around gamit sa '09 Everest namin. Very light yung shade pero randam mo talaga yung heat-rejecting properties niya. What more kung sa darker shades pa.

Marami ding nagkalat na fake 3M tints kaya nasisira yung reputation ng 3M. Best to have your vehicles tinted in reputable shops.

What's the better brand? Should I go 3M or Solarguard. Buying a new car and dealer is giving both for free. I choose 3M CS type 20 and 35.
