Kagabi, after the torrid rains in the afternoon...drove from Manila to Cainta...sobrang fogging ng rear windhshield ko! Wala na akong makita sa likod, even the headlights of the cars behind are barely visible!!

What could have caused this? Sobrang lamig ng aircon ko? High humidity outside after the rains?

Lahat na ng aircon settings sinubukan ko but nothing worked! Tried turning A/C off, then opened it again, closed the circulation, then opened it, opened some windows, closed them again. Had to go down twice and wipe off the rear windshield pero sandali lang ayun na naman yung fogging!!

Any inputs or information of similar occurence will help. Also, may produkto ba na pwedeng ipahid sa rear windshield para maiwasan ang fogging?

Did you check if your car have rear window defoggers? These heat up the glass to eliminate the moisture that have condensed on the glass.

There also are anti-fogging liquids that are sold in car accessory shops.

My father had a 1980 Cortina before and this was the problem back then, fogging on all windows. Petron was selling before an Anti-fogging solution back then and it worked like a charm. However, it only lasted barely a week and had to reapply again and again. Once you forget, yari ka. Practically blind as a bat ka.

Malakas a/c fan and thermostat mo kaya abot sa likod kaya nag moist sa labas. Pag sa loob ang moist, init yun against colder outside temp.

Why not try Rain-X products? Or even Rain Away (by Turtle Wax).

Yung Rain Away, dual purpose. Meron anti-fogging and helps water bead away easily. Less than P150 lang sa Ace Hardware. Although based on my experience, pahid ka ulit after a week.

Yes they do work but you have to re-apply about once a week for best effect.

To conserve on the product, just use it on the windows you need like rear window and the front side windows only.
