Mga sirs, What 3M tint can you recommend for a dark red/burgundy car? I am thinking of Black Chrome from 3M. BC35 for the winshield and rear glass and BC20 for the rest. Will that be okey in terms of privacy and heat/UV rejection?

    Thanks.

Weird lang. From the casa, I had our vehicle tinted cs5 sides and rear and cs 35 sa front windshield (supposedly). But looking at it from afar, it seems na very light shade ung nilagay ng casa. I compared my tint to some samples from Team Car banawe. And it seems may difference nga ung shade nung tint although very minute lang.

Sabi nung owner I can just have another layer put on top of it, instead of scraping it off. Baka magasgas lang ung glass.
Ultra late reply hehe. I'm just guessing maybe shade variance from a different batch? Even our older car with Vkool OEM 20 looks darker than the new one with the same tint.

Personally I prefer the look of clear or dark tints vs shiny/reflective ones. More so with your car's color.

If preference mo ung mirror type look ng tint then black chrome ka. Personally we have a red car, black tint kami.

I recommend the Color Stable series or "CS" series. The reason I recommend this is because aside from making your car look better, you won't encounter signal issues related to your wireless devices (i.e. GPS, cellular, proximity, RFID, etc.). The only trade off is that the CS series offers lower heat rejection and privacy compared to the magic or Black Chrome (BC) series. Choose your priorities and pick correspondingly. But whatever you do, skip the FX series.

Agree rin ako sa 35 front windshield and 20 for the rest. It's a comfortable middle ground that most people can live with. The 20 front and 5 for the rest is usually reserved for those with perfect eyesight wanting maximum privacy.

Please back read a little here kasi nasagot na mga tanong mo, at mga pwede mo pang itanong.

3M has not really changed their tint lineup over the years so the discussions and prices mentioned in this old thread are still pretty much valid and relevant even to this day.

Tint my Ride also offers 3M tints. I had my VKool installed there. They are in West Ave.

Personally for me parang mas maganda talaga ang black tint tingnan than the mirror types kahit anong color ng car.

Ano mga reputable shops that carry and install 3M tints around QC? Haha

    that's a hard one.
the tint that will reduce glare, will most likely also reduce the brightness of everything else, including bangins, road craters, and the car in front.

get a pair of polarizer sunglasses, yung minimum tint lang. (we used to know these as 'polaroid sunglasses'.) and see if it improves your outlook in antipolo life. they're good at diminishing reflected glare.

    Gamitin ang sun visors.
Or are you referring to glare na nagrereflect sa dashboard?
Wala sa tint yan. Kung talagang nakaharap ang general direction sa araw, talagang may glare yan.

    Hello,
This is an outdated thread but I need consultation. Nag pakabit ako ng OB 5 wrap around except sa windshield kasi Im okay with the FXST 5 sa other suv, howcome OB5 is too dark sa gabi whereas as sa old FX 5 hindi naman? Is CS 5 clearer than OB 5? Or palitan ko na lang ng CS 20?

I would have wanted to have a VKool K series on my Fortuner but in my area, they only have the OEM 05 and 20, so I had no choice but to have the 3M BC series BC20 all around....I am happy and satisfied. I was apprehensive at first regarding signal disruption specially since I use a Huawei router (sim base 4G/LTE) for internet inside my vehicle. But I can say that BC20 did not interfere with the internet 4G LTE signal....
