    I see. Thanks sir.

Pag gusto ko yung medyo hindi ako nakikita, pero at the same time hindi sobrng dilim na mahihirapan ako mag drive sa gabi, would you recommend the Black Chrome 20 sir or Black Chrome 35? Also sir sa front if I want mas malinaw naman should it be 35 or 40?

    Salamat.

Sorry to hear about your bad exp with roadstar but thanks for the warning. Thanks!

    Tier 1:
    V-Kool VK and X series
    Huper Optik (All)
    SolarGard LX series
    3M CR series

    Tier 2:
    V-Kool K series
    Nano-Tech (All)
    SolarGard HP and Sterling series
    3M BC and CS series

    Tier 3:
    V-Kool OEM series
    SolarGard Non-HP series
    3M FX series

Consider also the warranty length. 5-7 years warranty are pretty common now.
Bro, so as per posted specs, the TSER of the VKool OEM is just at par with the cheaper 3M FX eh? And supposedly the dyed black Solarguards (non-hp) are likewise just at par with the FX?

Other than HP Charcoal, I wonder if Solarguard has other HP that's black.

Not being seen inside is also dependent on the rake of your windshield. The more raked, the less you are seen. Also bc35 would be lighter than medium black (cs or fx 35), so if u want better visibility but slightly less porma, bc35 or magic neutral should work.

I see sir. But if I use Color Stable, and medium black on sides and back, what would you recommend for use sa front windshield na color stable as well? I don't know kasi if medium black is too dark for use on the wind shield? Thanks.

EDIT: I'm planning on buying a new car and the agent told me that they are offering the FX series 3M tint as free. As mentioned here, FX series changes color over time, atsaka I believe it is metallized as well. Should I have it installed parin if ever?

Question : What happened to the Regular Dark Tint of 3M?
it used to be the model in between Medium Black and Super Dark tint.
I can"t seem to find that model anymore in any shops.
They keep offering me the magic one which looks like a dark chrome mirror which i dislike.

BC is metallized/metallic. FX and CS are dye based. If you can get the tint replaced with some other freebie of a good value, then have the tint done elsewhere. If not, then FX will do for the meantime.

Medium black lang ba for the windows? If you can take it, medium black na din sa harap, para pantay.

You're referring to Dark Smoke. It's the FX/CS 20, which is about as dark as Dark magic. Wala na nga. Either Super black FX/CS 5 or Medium black FX/CS35 na lang ang natira.

Thanks sir. I got the info from 3M's simulator website. It indicated that FX HP is metallized, while FX Premium isn't. I assumed lang that the FX being offered is the regular FX HP lang, which according to some people here fades over time.

Simulator - Automotive window film - product simulator and demo - 3M US

Will see if I can exchange it to a different freebie. Thanks!

Chances are we're only getting 1 FX - the lower non-metallized one. Or perhaps, your suking tindahan will only keep the lower FX on stock, since may CS naman for customers having higher requirements.

ale828 if its a freebie better get the FX then once it fades change it to other brand you want.
IMM29 really CS is dye based? I thought it was nano carbon polyester(which I saw over ebay) thats why some people said it will never fade or change color.

My dad is trying to decide between V-Kool OEM series and 3M BC (magic?) series. V-Kool is quoting around 7k for a CX5 windshield visor only.

    Priorities:
    1. VLT
    2. Heat rejection
    3. Must look good on a silver CX5.

Which one would meet his requirements better? His choices are kinda limited because V-Kool CDO only has OEM on stock and 3M CDO only has BC and below on stock. If he wants something better it has to be ordered from Manila and he can't wait that long.

Mga sirs, just want to clarify...when you say Medium Black, that is referring to VLT of 20 or 35? Tama ba itong pagkakaintindi ko:

    Super Black = 5
    Medium Black = 15-20
    Light Black = 30-35

    Thanks!

Crystalline - clear tint forgot the years of warranty of this one
Black Chrome - magic tint (foggy tint) 5 years warranty
Color Stable - purple color made of nano carbon polyester a bit foggy but tolerable 5 years warranty
FX ST - dyed tint which changes color 3 years warranty

Sorry don't know how the other 3M tint looks like and their effect once installed inside the windows.

sir anong ibig sabihin ng foggy tint? malabo ba sya from inside looking outside? nakak distract ba?

also sir would you know if when the dealer says medium, it means 20 or 35? The dealer I talked to kasi agreed na color stable ang ikakabit, pero ang sabi sakin light or medium lang ang meron. Thanks!
