After using the OEM series for a week. I can say na maganda heat rejection niya.

in other countries, law prohibits tint on front windshield, top strip lang allowed. in others naman, 35% VLT ang minimum allowed. while still in others 70% VLT ang minimum. sana nga meron ganitong law sa Pinas. i believe mas mahalaga ang road safety vs privacy.

    VLT (Visible Light Transmittance)
The percent of total visible light that is transmitted through the window film/glass system. The lower the number, the less visible light transmitted.

Glass (No Tint) = 90% VLT
Super Clear Tint = 60% to 70% VLT
    Clear Tint = 40% to 50% VLT
    Light Tint = 30 to 35% VLT
    Medium Tint = 20 to 25% VLT
    Dark Tint = 10% to 15% VLT
Super Dark Tint = Below 10% VLT

possible din. i might have it changed to OEM 35 instead. anyway daming gasgas nung WS tint dahil sa spatula na ginamit. will have them replace it. papalit ko na to OEM 35 for driving safety na din.

The front WS tint of my Trailblazer and BRZ are both OEM 20. My vision is 125-100 and I do not wear my glasses most of the time. I do not have any problems with the night visibility of OEM 20.

crazy_boy, I suggest na try to observe the night visibility while wearing eye glasses and compare the visibility where you're not wearing one. Dyan mo malalaman if you need to change to OEM 35.

Nice try to downplay V-Kool OEM's visibility red_one. You've been trying to downplay V-Kool's OEM series since before. Dati, with its heat rejection capabilities, now with its visibility. Tapos popromote mo Solar Gard.

^numbah5. normal eye sight ako. i dont wear glasses kaya difficult for me to asses if tint nga ba talaga problem. pero ever since i started driving 12 years ako, yan na problem ko sa mga tinted windshield. whether light or medium tint ganyan parin. kahit naka projectors HID na ako ganyan parin. I read online meron ngang "Night Blindness" na eyesight problem. have to have it checked lang.

pero sa heat rejection, wala ako masabi. hands down.

ayus ah. i do not promote Solar Gard tint. where in any forum thread have you read that? what i do promote is higher VLT for windshield and front doors primarily for road safety. here is my tint list.. may V-Kool dyan di ba? nasa top line pa nga eh.. basa-basa muna bago mag-comment.

    Tier 1:
    V-Kool VK and X series
    Nano-Tech Clear Sky series
Huper Optik X3 Ceramic, Nano-Ceramic and Clear Ceramic series
    SolarGard LX and Silver series
    3M CR series
Llumar Ultra Performance, SpectraSelect and Windshield series

    Tier 2:
    V-Kool K series
Nano-Tech VIP, Charcoal and Reflective series
Huper Optik Klassisch, Klassich Black and Shield series
    SolarGard HP and Sterling series
    3M BC and CS series
    Platinum MNSR series
Llumar Deluxe and High Performance series

    Tier 3:
    V-Kool OEM series
    SolarGard Non-HP series
    3M FX series
    Platinum MX and MBSR series
    Llumar Standard and Premium series

Anyone here have 'V Kool' tint?
