3M tint, fake or genuine?

how do we know if our 3M tint is genuine or fake? i heard both fake and genuine have the 3M markings, so how do we distinguish the real?

are the one's from the casa like toyota and honda sure to be genuine?

it's really hard to distinguish nowadays how to tell a fake from the real thing. the 3M markings are now perfected by the goons who sell these fake ones. Better get them from reputable stores who carry these brands.

more likely than not, the CASAs sell the real thing. i don't think they'll risk the reputation of the car company just to make extra dough on phony tints..

anong reputation ng CASA??? the reputation of "casa" have long ago been damaged and gone... kaya nga sa labas kayo ng casa nag papagawa after hearing all the casa horor stories around and after the factory warranty... i am too am a victim (toyota bicutan to be exact)

anyways back to the topic, you may contact 3M philippines if you suspect to recieve a fake item, they will investigate and prosecute the seller who sold you fake tints...

Installed BC20 sa windshield para pumantay sa sides na BC20 din installed couple of months ago, then sinubukan ko iscratch yung logo with finger nails, buti n lang hindi natanggal. hahahaha. Genuine na nga siguro yun

May nakaExperience na ba dito na parang may bubbles yung tint nila? Napansin ko lang ito ngayong nag-Tagulan. Parang nagkahangin sa loob ng tint.

BTW, BC20 nga pala tint ko, wala pa siyang 1year na nakalagay. Hindi ako makapagpost ng picture eh, hindi makita yung parang bubbles sa picture, nagrereflect kasi yung background.

Both have dot matrix print ata, but yung printing ng orig na 3M ay medyo malaki and medyo transparent and if you try to scratch it with your fingernails di matatangal, yung fake...yung print nya ay medyo maliit and darker ang kulay ng print and pag iniscratch mo sya with your fingernails ay nabubura sya.

ang orig yung dot matrix ang print na around 1cm x 1cm sabi ng friend ko na may shop sa banawe. ang fake naman yung malaki na parang outline ang pagka print...

toyota balintawak may fake na 3m dati (parang outline yung print) wayback 2001 nakabitan ang revo ng cousin ko... wala pa 1year nag kulay talong agad...

13 years base on my experience
My super dark 3m tint haven;t faded in the span of 13years but bubbles started appearing after the windows fogged one night

change na ako from titanium windshield 2 years med black nag kulay greenish na sya side platinum 15 years nag brownish na ngaun all side 3m at med black sa windshield 3m i dont know kung liget 3m to kasi ung mga past tints ko US made lahat class A
