Thanks, sir. At least, bawas worry sa stop-&-go traffic natin sa Pilipinas.

First time car owner kasi. Base sa possible confusion scenario for the CPU, I tried slowing down to almost a halt during my test drive when approaching speed bumps and then revving it afterwards so far hindi ko na encounter yung confused sya. Built quality was superb luckily naka pa reserve pa ako ng BE kahit hindi na sya offered. Sana lang dumating before Christmas.

😅 eyeing the CRDI accent but it's so bare. Then the Jazz RS, then saw VW on my way to Honda Alabang because my sales executive is on sick leave and decided to stop by molito. Yun na fate was sealed after test driving it. Wala daw power folding na side mirror but the 12 years warranty on rustproofing was more than enough for me to say na this is a quality car. Sana ma-reach ko yung million-mile club status one day with this.

Not a knock on VW or on any other car maker pero our 1996 Civic EK has yet to have rust on it. Rust formation depends mostly on 3 factors -- inherent manufacturing quality/rustproofing, owner's maintenance, driving conditions.
If you live by the seaside I suppose you will see a lot more rusting cars than if you live more inland.
Also, other parts can break long before the body begins to rust.
congrats., that must have been nice. I just find it comforting that they (VW) are confident enough in their manufacturing process to include a warranty on it. Gives me confidence parting ways with my moolah especially I am planning to keep it preferably for life.

Wala na nga daw. Not sure pero last shipment na yung kinuha ko daw. As far as VW Alabang is concerned. 1,300,000 pa rin yung BE+ and 1,250,000 yung BE. I just insisted until sinabi nya meron. So there na. Adaptive cruise, front assist, autonomous braking, lane watch assist (not sure), and collision warning. HID headlights and LED DRL

not sure if mandated na sa LAW yung DPF. yep, worrisome nga yung Euro 5 status nya but our fuels are still Euro 4. Pero with regards to DPF's function, it doesn't need replacing naman as long as you do highway driving of cumulative 60 minutes every fortnight. read it here.
sa pricing naman:
- Comfortline > 1,100,000
- Highline > 1,200,000
- Business Edition > 1,250,000
- Business Edition+ > 1,300,000
so bali 100,000 din difference ng BE+ sa Highline.
Sa mga may unit na, magkano po ba LTO registration nyo quoted kasi sa akin at 13,500 kasi.
Due to its gross vehicle weight, the Jetta is classified as medium under LTO MVUC guidelines. Under such guidelines, cars with gross vehicle weight of over 1600kg is classified under medium. Thus, the 3-year registration cost of around 13500. Our Jetta 1.6L TDI DSG is also tagged under medium.
For comparison, most of the compact cars nowadays are classified under medium. These includes the Altis, Focus, Sylphy 1.8L, and Elantra. These means you pay similar registration costs as the usual midsize cars - Accord, Camry, Mazda6, Legacy, Sonata, Altima. I think only the Mazda3 and Civic are the only ones below the 1600kg gross vehicle weight.
