Plus that 2.0 TDI is fun to drive. Nakaka panibago lang yung DSG tranny nya. I also called Volkswagen under Laus group in Pampanga and no word yet on when the next batch would arrive if there is any at all.
Have contact in VW and the next batch daw is sometime in Dec. however, mukhang sold out na rin so if you notice walang PR yung GTS puro Jetta yung madaming airtime ngayon.

I myself am wondering kung abot ako pila. 🤞

DSG is excellent sa out of town trips.

Both my Peugeot and Golf have heavier more solid doors than any of my Japanese cars. It's a good thing for me.

Lights are not LED but they illuminate well. There's a conversion guide to LEDs in Jetta specific forum.

Remember, the Jetta and Golf GTS are NAR. North America Region, so aftermarket parts are plenty.

Just completed my 12mos PMS with my VW Jetta.

    To summarize,

6mos or 7500km PMS - PHP zero (free)

    12mos or 15Tkm PMS - PHP 8,250

VW has its specific oil requirements and I think the local VW dealerships use Castrol.

As mentioned, VW follows a 12-month or 15k KM PMS cycle. Next PMS is after 12 months.

Pwede na rin yung presyo, atleast once a year ka lang maaabala kung di ka lalagpas sa 15K kms per year, which most of us does.

Subaru is every 6 months or 10k km. Like VW, they have no requirement to bring back the car for a first 1000km checkup. which makes me think of the additional fees the other companies are getting from this practice. . .

First 1000 kms check up is usually free ... it's more of an inconvenience than a cost issue ...

For CRDI-based diesels, I always put in either Petron's Turbo Diesel or Shell's Diesel V-Power. Did that to my old Montero and now current VW Caddy.

Any issues, if at all, on loading Euro 4 fuels on Euro 5 engines? I think I read somewhere in the hyundai forums some issues they had with Euro 4 engines while our market is still on Euro 2.

Euro 5 fuels have 10 parts per million (ppm) sulfur, which is 5 times less than the Euro 4 fuels. Less din particulate matter .Sa ngayon siguro hindi pa makakaapekto, after 10 yrs kaya? If meron naman euro 5 fuel, eh hayun na I karga.

Yeah, you're right. I wonder when they'll upgrade the rest of their fuels to euro 5.
