Heto po ang alam kong simula ng tsikot:

Way before tsikot actually started, Doc Admin already presented to me the concept. At that time, medyo alinlangan ako dahil parang mahihirapan kami mag-break into the scene due to the popularity of Kotse.com, AI and other local automotive boards and websites. But I still said that we could always give the concept a try.

Fast forward na tayo. I was sitting in the UST Learning Resource Unit (computer room) a few months ago when Doc apporached me again with the concept of Tsikot.com. A day or two later, Tsikot.com was already up. Promotions started and the rest was history.

Dami kong nakilalang friends because of Tsikot.com.

The tsikot history isn't bad at all!!! Congrats!!! There was a niche for a friendly forum site and you supplied it....

Ako I started long...long ago....siguro around 1999 yun...I was originally looking for a site that could help me tune up my dad's old nissan sunny which I was using....and I chance upon Mang Bitoy ng kotse.com forum (he gave good advice).

The forum then was quite good (healthy discussions, maintained and secured). Then they grew and the system crashed (the first time).....then they tried to resusistate the forum....when it grew again and it crashed again (the 2nd time).....wala na sigurong pera to maintain it....they shifted to ezboard forum.....the start was okay for a least almost a year siguro....then the FLP boys and the never ending pop-up messages/ad.....

That was it for me ... not the FLP boys or hackers (enjoy naman ang post nila somehow) ....but the pop-up ads that I hate most....mabagal na nga ISP ko e lalo pang bumagal sa pop-up ads.....then the invitations of Otep posted all over for tsikot.com....tried it and enjoyed the stay.....

.....Ilan na lang ang mga inabot ko from the orig kotse.com to tsikot.com ..... handle's I remember na lang ay spectre and autoxer....yung iba hindi ko tanda.

OT: Ngayon pala, pag tumingin kayo sa kotse.com, di na nagbebenta ng FLP si chavez at piamonte. Nang-aasar na lang talaga sa mga kumakagat sa mga hirit nila. :evil:

sobrang curius nako kay james chavez n ayan ha... kahit di ko alam ang whole story about him natatawa and nayayabangan din ako dun sa mga post... di kaya sya rin mga gumagawa nun???

nway, im just glad i found dis website... dati kc sa femalenetwork.com ako, kaso nawala na yata yun eh, di ko kasi ma-open yung site... so sad na naman ako... wala kc ako alam na magandang forums eh, internet lang passtime ko pag nasa bahay.... until i found pinaytalk.com, then nakita ko yung tsikot... wala lang... sa tsikot na lang ako, kasi mas sensible peeps dito eh... hapi na naman ako...
