Shoutbox presentation

Tsikot Admins,

Can we modify the presentation of the shoutbox to have the latest entry at the bottom then upwards? It's a bit difficult to read and follow the topic . It is just like how a messenger works ... .

I'm sure everybody will be glad on the idea, lalo pag NBA na hehehe !

Am not sure though if this is a big change on the code or with the schema???

i just changed the flow so that messages fow down, that is, newest message will be at the bottom. will just have to work on the timestamps, though...

IMO...

as a heavy shoutbox user (btw, I am the #1 shouter there - haha), i would have to disagree with the threadstarter's suggestion. this is very confusing since time immemorial the shoutbox has been updated from top to bottom.

i would also disagree with the time stamp, this would just crowd the limited space assigned for the shoutbox.

It will take some time when you get used to this especially like Mazda said as he is a heavy SB user.

OT: Admin, I wonder how can this be fixed? When I click the Quick links tab, a drop down menu appears but part of it is layered over by the ad. Di ba dapat yung drop down menu is on top among others? See sample picture

btw, some bugs...

when hitting the "smilies" button, the page defaults to the topmost (oldest) shout.

when scrolling up (using the mouse scroll) tsikot's website, it will get stuck at the SB portion. the SB posts will then get scrolled instead.

the sb window doesn't scroll down completey when posting a big emoticon like "jawdrop".
