As for the IT people doing their jobs - please be assured that they are (Jedi, Tsikot and company).

Okay, I did some quick tests on my own.

    1. If you connect to the Internet via LAN and your router/switch has a firewall and your have a software-based firewall like Microsoft ISA, you may experience this problem. There's a solution to this: ibaba ang restrictions sa firewall or remove the firewall. PERO I'M NOT ADVISING THAT YOU DO THIS KASI IT WOULD LEAVE YOUR NETWORK AND YOUR SYSTEMS VULNERABLE.
    2. If you have a firewall running on your computer on top of the firewall that you have on your network. Solution: switch off yung firewall sa laptop. Kung may firewall na kayo sa router/switch tas may firewall kayo sa server, then theoretically you can switch of yung firewall nyo. That is, kung secure talaga ang settings nyo dun sa dalawang firewall.
    3. If you're a just a home user pero you have a firewall (e.g. Zone Alarm) running on top of the Windows Firewall - turn off the Windows firewall.
    4. Kung naka-automatic lahat yung settings nyo sa LAN connectivity, gawin nyong absolute KUNG PWEDE or KUNG ALLOWED DYAN SA INYO. Absolute, meaning i-input nyo ang IP address, subnet mask, gateway at check nyo ang DHCP settings.

NOTE: HINDE PO TOTAL SOLUTION TONG MGA RECOMMENDATIONS KO. I LEAVE IT UP TO YOU SUSUBUKAN NYO OR HINDI. IF YOU DO, WALA PO AKONG PANANAGUTAN SA MAGIGING EPEKTO SA SYSTEMS NYO. IKA NGA, DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Pero, it left the network and the computer I used vulnerable to attacks so binalik ko na lang sa dati.

I also tested using a laptop running under Ubuntu Linux at PowerMac. Wala po akong naging problem dun sa dalawa, pero it might have something to do with the way I connected sa 'Net using this two computers - parehong rekta (hinde dumaan sa LAN/network).

Anyways, pwede naman din kayong mag-test dyan on your end sa free time. Yung inputs nyo po would help our community very much.

    Peace out mga kapatid! :D
