As you may have observed, Tsikot.com has been offline for about 6 days. The scheduled downtime was supposed to have lasted only 48 hours at the longest, but unforseen problems bogged the server software reinstallation / troubleshooting. This maintenance was undertaken to address the frequent downtimes experienced in the past which was traced to defective / buggy software installed in the server.

Hopefully, with this server software reinstallation, such downtimes will be reduced to the minimum. Let's just look at this as sort of a short time loss for a long-time gain.

The scheduled upgrading of the vbulletin forum script that was supposed to coincide with the originally-slated 24-48 hour downtime is postponed at a later date when things are stabilized. We will just announce the next downtime, much shorter we promise, when we are ready. But this will be done in time for our 4th year anniversary come October 2006.

As of this writing, Tsikot.com Forums, Galleries and Classifieds are still under troubleshooting mode. As such, there are features which might not be available yet and there might be errors and bugs that need to be fixed.

Please reply to this thread when you encounter them.

The missing gallery and classifieds photos and thumbs will be fixed in due time.
