Our only son is turning 3 next month and wifey has requested we take a weekend in the metro for his birthday. ( I think it's just so it coincides with her early Christmas shopping )

We've been to Kidzania in BGC, but he's still too young to appreciate most of the stuff there.

Indoor playgrounds are a dime a dozen here where we live, so that's out.

Is DreamPlay a good idea for a 3-year old? Will he like the attractions and activities there?

Are there other possible alternatives that are more suited to a toddler?

Would appreciate any viable suggestions fellow Tsikoteers.

Some obstacle courses in Dream Play might not be suitable for a 3yr old kid, but madami pa rin naman magagawa dun like plus he gets to take picture with some Dreamworks characters. How about Active Fun or Adventure Zone in Shang? (both in BGC). Or maybe Kidzoona in malls? The Kidzoona in Galleria I think is bigger than the other ones.

Haha, that may be true Master C, although I know she appreciates the shopping at Greenhills more for some reason.

Is Okada Play a better choice kaya?

That's what I'm thinking as well sir. DreamPlay seems to be more appropriate for bigger kids.

I will check out Active Fun and Adventure Zone.

    Must get wifey's approval first,

Well there's a small Active Fun in Greenhills. So the wife can shop while the kid plays hehe.

Nadala ko na 3y/o ko sa Kidzoona sa Shang. Okay naman yung playground, malaki at marami syang magagawa. Might want to check it out too.

I checked out Active Fun, it looks like an indoor playground much like Kidzoona and other places. We have those as well here in almost all of the malls.

I will take a look at other places in BGC including Adventure Zone.

    Thanks again sir Bugs!

Thanks sir Yubby, will take a look as well.

Keep'em coming Daddies, you know how frustrating it sometimes can be providing entertainment for the kids.

Fastest way for kids to get sick are those play pens in malls. Kahit A-B crowd pa yan you get A-B-C-D germs pa din. When our kids were little they only stopped getting sick when we stopped going to those play places. Sabagay, best means of getting resistance is exposure. Kaso lang paano kung walang gamot?

Best place for baby is on grandpa's and grandma's house. Best memories for your folks. Pag 8 years old na si baby at maremember na niya yung experience saka mo idala sa disney.

    sparky,

dalhin mo sa lamesa ecopark para matuto ng tunay na playground.

yung mga playground kuno sa mall/casino hotel eh magbobolahan lang kayo jan. Tapos pasigaw-sigaw pa in english feeling peppah pig.

Maganda matutu anak mo tunay na laruan like in the 80s.

Ball pool! More like germs pool. Andun na lahat. Thousands of balls that never get a wiping. Do you think they wash those balls in disinfectant daily? Weekly? Once a year? Never!

Kahit naka-surgical gloves pa yan natural sa bata ang hand-to-mouth, what they touch they taste, or at the very least ilalagay pa din ng bata ang kamay sa bibig.

Thank you gents. Wifey and I already agreed that indoor parks/playgrounds are not on the list this year.

Disney would be nice, but he's still too young to understand and appreciate all the attractions and activities there. We're planning that for his 7th birthday.

    I guess I'll keep looking.

Would the wife want to go to the beach? Yung anak ko kasi, bihira naman namin sya dalhin sa indoor playground. More on nature tripping, particularly maligo sa dagat. Noon takot pa sya lumusong sa tubig pero ngayon sya na nangunguna.

Hmmm how about the National Museum? I heard the they renovated it & it's really nice, but your kid might get bored. Or maybe Museo Pambata or Mind Museum?
