What's the best route to pico de loro?
    Via cavitex or via SLEX?
We are planning to go there this May. Thanks.

Been to Pico de Loro last Holy week. We took the SLEX-Tagaytay Route. If you're going to use Cavitex, you can use the Nasugbu-Ternate Road. IMO, mas mata-traffic ka if you'll use the latter route since magbabayan-bayan ka pa sa cavite.

Thanks for the reply, bro. Crave How long did it take you via SLEX? I was considering cavitex since it's shorter by around 40kms and i want to avoid the traffic in tagaytay.

Since i'm just from Santa Rosa ( near Mamplasan exit ), it took us 2-2.5 hours. Just turn right to Lagusan drive in Santa Rosa-Tagaytay road since matraffic na upon reaching Rowena's until dun sa end ng Santa Rosa-Tagaytay road. Next na matraffic is after summit ridge until sky ranch.

Ang matrapik are the towns of Gen Trias and Tanza in Cavite. From end of Cavitex hanggang malampasam mo ang Tanza is about 30 mins. After that, derederecho na.

Maraming salamat sir! Sige dito na ako dadaan papunta ng Pico De Loro para maexperience ko.

Isang tanong na lang, madami bang signs from Cavite kung saan ang daan papunta ng Kaybiang tunnel?

^Iisang daan lang yan. Your target is Ternate town in Cavite. Just like any other roards sa Pinas, kulang ang mga signs pero National hiway ka dadaan. Hindi ka maliligaw. After Ternate town ay puro bundok na hanggang Pico.

Paglabas mo ng Cavitex ay Kawit town. Derecho ka ng Centennial road. Check Google. Soriano hiway na ang kasunod to Ternate.

Cavitex would still be your best option. The other route can be SLEX exit Carmona then head straight Gen. Trias going Ternate.

On a Monday, Sta Rosa to Tagaytay route will be appealing as it's more scenic and can have a stop over in Tagaytay for coffee. Traffic should be smooth all the way. Them coming back, try the Ternate route to experience and familiarize.
