What to buy at Singapore?

As always, check the prices in shops that you can't haggle like Harvey Norman, Best Denki, Courts, Challenger etc... then base your prices from there... Know how much the accompanying accessories will cost as well and the usual freebies that comes with buying from the large chains...

You won't win arguing with Sim Lim and LP cahoots hehe, trust me, I've seen big voice battles live in those areas and the customer always loses...

Yup, the last time nag shouting match kami ng store clerk...kasi sabi nya..I will not do business with you if you don't buy my battery...teka? I only need the $350 camera not your $30 stupid battery!!! ...dahil sa high blood ko minura ko sya from chinese to spanish.

I did not buy the camera and wala sya $350 sales and his stupid battery....until now di ko pa rin makuha ang logic and style sa business nila.

I agree with Sir theveed. Based din ako dito sa Singapore for 1.5 years at I can really say na dapat iwasan mo ang SimLim at Lucky Plaza. Madaming dorobo na tindero dun. Kung gusto mong mag take ng risk, kelangan alam mo yung product na bibilhin mo at wag ka makikinig kung may isa suggest sa yo na ibang product. Beware din kung titingin tingin ka lang ng product at magca-canvass ka lang kung san yung mura. Nde din sila pleasant sa mga ganung buyers.

At ang masakit pa jan, pag nagoyo ka nila at babalikan mo sila para magreklamo ka, sila pa ang mas matapang sa yo.

try mo mustafa shopping center, may mga gadgets din doon at mga souvenirs

i agree lahat sa mga sinabi nila. maraming nagbibigay ng discount pero dudugasin ka nila sa accessories. minsan kahit tumingin ka lang sa product nila pipilitin ka ng bumili.

bumili ka lang ng konting souvenir items. kung mga gadgets lang naman hanap mo dito ka na sa pinas, di naman magkalayo ang presyo.
