It could be anywhere from 1,000 to infinity...
Churches with air conditioning on could be 12k-25k. If you have friends who can get you a discount, go for it.
Coconut Palace was 20K for the venue last time I asked. Make sure you schedule in a month with very little chance of rain.
Catering could be anywhere from 200 pesos to 1000 pesos per head.
Your dress can be rented, or made custom from 10k to 25k or up to 50k. Maybe 100k with stones.
Those are the big ticket items. There are lots of small stuff that add up to a lot. Flowers, dresses for the entourage, invites, cakes if not included in the catering, additional decor, emcees, sound system if not already part of the package, musicians, cars, etc.Last edited by the_wildthing; January 14th, 2006 at 09:55 AM.

We got our dress from a known designer for 30k. No stones, but the lacework and cut were very very beautiful. (of course, I also had a hand in the design. ).
I can say one thing for the scheduling at coconut palace.... ANG HIRAP! If you don't book over a year in advance, you might not get a good date. Our friends booked one year in advance and still got pushed out to a marginal date. Ayun, inabutan ng typhoon season. Their beautiful garden wedding became a sort of cramped indoor one... and my old car got wrecked by floods, to boot. grrrrrrrr....
I can't vouch for other venues in the metro, but for December, you'd be surprised how clement the weather is. Unless you luck out on El Niņo, it's usually cool but dry in December. If you want to be a segurista, tents do wonderful things... but AFAIK, places like Fernwood are roofed anyway. What some do is rent one open area and one closed just in case, but that costs you an extra 20k or so.
Yes, the egg helps. If only to make your wife feel better. :D We did it... had a garden reception with no tents (in December!), and we had no problems.

Yung 1 year +++ na yan for popular months and dates like June and May. Always best to check anyway. Good luck!
Yung egg kasi, gusto ng wife ko... pero I wasn't worried. Andami na kong December na kasal na in-attend na di inulanan... and when it does rain, di naman grabe. You don't usually get heavy rain in cold months, because cold weather lessens the likelihood of sudden storms.
