Is 6 months not enough to do all the things you have listed? Baka ganyan maging response sayo. AFAIK hanggang 6 months lang pwede mag exit, as in the case ng mother ko who used to be a green card holder. One time na warningan sya ng US immigration officer for staying in PH for more than 6 months.

That's why I am applying for a re entry permit which allows me to leave for 1 year

What my aunt did when she was selling her property in the philippines was had a licensed real estate agent do the selling, and went to p.i. only when there already was a sure buyer.

As for education..... See what a credit translation agency(such as WES) can do to convert you PH college credits to US credits. They converted all of my general courses from Mapua. I was able to take up a new major right away when I resumed college.

Help! How do I convince the US Immigration that I need to go back to the Philippines for AT LEAST ONE YEAR. The application costs USD660 and if it gets rejected, I won't be refunded anymore.

I don't know how to word it properly but my reason is I need more time to complete all my financial and business obligations (selling of properties, closing of accounts, ano pa ba?) I am an only child and my whole family is in the US so I cannot rely on anyone else to do this. I will also study for skills that are in demand in the US. Most important, I need to make arrangements to ensure that my second Mom who took care of me since I was a baby will be okay when I am away. She is single and has no contact with her family anymore and I am her only family.

How do I make that condense and convincing?
