Nag simula na rin mga paid trolls ni uber sa web. Puro pag depensa sa uber pero pag check mo sa profile mga fake name naman.
Lumuwag kaya traffic bukas?

I like uber.

Sila narin nag sasabi na heavily subsidized nila yung drivers and lugi pa sila operating cost kasi wala talaga silang kinikita.
Which is true kasi ang goal nila is to starve out the competition, kill off taxis by giving drivers good compensation (abono sila) but still being cheaper versus taxis. And then pag may monopoly na sila sa industry, they would start increasing the fares.
Kaya lang naman maraming may gusto sa uber/grab kasi bago halos lahat ng uber cars and may app. Pero recently andami naring uber at grab car na not well maintained, bago pa yung car pero sa loob madumi narin, may amoy narin, barumbado yung driver.
The govt should also make an official ph taxi app na naka sync narin sa metro ng taxis. Accepts cards, etc. Para regulated din ng govt for proper fare and taxation.

aww
grab(car) muna for the meantime.
scary din if there's a truth (as mentioned earlier) that uber will cannibalize the taxi industry and monopolize it and increase fares. huwag sana ganoon.
mas OK yung uber noon dahil yung target nila which is the middle class who uses credit/debit card kaya ang payment option lang noon is card only, at wala pang cash payment, so it's hassle free to use uber. pero nung gumaya na sila sa grab which is accepting cash payment, medyo nag-dip ang quality ng uber sa atin, IMO. then yun nga dumami na ang drivers and partners (some percentage of them are ex-taxi drivers who wants to experience to drive a TNVS car).
it will be fair if Uber breaks the LTFRB memo re: not accepting drivers. but I hope the LTFRB is also fair to other PUVs (special mention to the taxis) na pakinggan nila yung complaints ng riders/commuters from the PUVs.
uber was originally supposed to enable car owners to earn a little money on the side, renting out their cars when they are not using them. strictly part-time.
if uber is going to use these cars as full-time transport vehicles-for-hire, a.k.a. taxis, then should be accorded all the rights, privileges, rules and regulations, and fees befitting a regular taxicab company.
even the ltfrb seems "confused" at uber's functions... hearing their representatives being interviewed on the radio, they seem to me, to be "unsure" at how uber should be functioning.
bakit kailangan pa sabihin ibang matter yung dilapidated PUVs, bastos cab drivers etc; eh yun nga mga dahilan kung bakit bumenta ang uber.
nakatanggap ako kanina ng email sa uber uber notifying me of their ltfrb suspension. hopefully, both sides find a common ground kasi perwisyo nga naman talaga ito sa regular patrons ng uber
Trying to get grassroots/social media support. Chances are a lot of the people who got that mail are on SC giving the LTFRB a piece of their mind.
Social media is the new mob rule

because it is. ibang matter talaga silang dilapidateds and bastoses. they operate under a different set of rules.
the issue is uber, how it is perceived to be operating now, and how it should be operating, given its original agreed-upon job description that they themselves framed.
isama mo na rin yung boundary ng operators. Yan naman laging dinadahilan ng taxi driver kapag gumagawa ng kalokohan.
