Uber is a very powerful multinational conglomerate na Hindi Kaya ng LTFRb. They are under attack to every country in the world and yet they still survive even in the first world. If you think about New world Order, then Uber is one one of them. like Umbrella corp is to resident evil or OCP is to Robocop,

The recent media Attacks on Taxi drivers both good and bad. I.e praising taxi cabs for good deeds or viral humiliation of uncivilized taxi drivers. Are things that we will expect from the global corporation. Why? Because they can afford to pay the media and launch social media campagns, LTFRB and taxi operators can't do that.

Let's face it, Uber is the future, I like Uber. The Millenials like it too, There's no stopping them

At least in this case you still have uber or grab to run after. Or the driver/operator since you have their info beforehand.

Bago nyo siguro husgahan yung uber, subukan nyo muna mag cab during rush hour for a month, tapos uber naman pagkatapos.

ang issue kasi hindi yung service. ang issue yung regulation. pag walang regulation ang tawag dun colorum. di ba sabi no one is above the law. bakit itong uber ayaw maging regulated by laws?

OT lang konti: buti nalng si gf my line of credit (wala akong cc hehe) kaya pag coding nakakapag uber kami. always a pleasant experience.

What is regulation anyway? Regulation is a means of prescribing conduct. It can be made by government or by a private organization, in which case it is called self-regulation.

To ensure that those who are subject of regulation conform to the norms of conduct, registration may be required. In addition, monitoring is necessary to find out if the regulation is followed. Still, in addition, to ensure compliance, penalties may be imposed.

So, in the case of regular cabs that are supposedly regulated by LTFRB, is there effective regulation? At least, with Uber, which is engaged in self-regulation, there is some form of effective regulation.

Yup. When your kid needs to go somewhere and transportation is going to be an issue, this service provides that solution. Whether it be a sports event, band practice, port transfer, after school program, concert, etc.

I rode Uber X twice this week. First was an Adventure then an Innova. It was my first time to ride an Adventure and it was not easy to get in. There was no step board

The Innova was owner driven. He confirmed what jut posted earlier on. Uber was NOT that profitable without incentives. When Uber removed the incentives they were losing money and almost had to return the vehicle. But Uber brought back the incentives May. The driver was very nice and religious. I was really teary eyed at how blessed he felt having his Innova and new job. He used to earn only P500 to 700 a week doing odd jobs but now he nan earn as much as P27000. I'm glad Uber came to our country. More jobs for our countrymen and safe public transpo for commuters. I love the freedom that now I am able to commute!

Huh!?

You have a choice ayaw mo magbayad ng surge pricing eh di huwag ka sumakay during peak times.

Mag regular taxi ka bus or jeep walang surge pricing.

but remember, factors kung bakit may surge ang Uber (even sa Grab Car, rates go up as well on rush hours and peak hours) is the traffic and law of supply & demand.

Yep i tried uber/grab for a week nung asa casa oto.

Morning since super early kami tolerable ang price, pero pag gabi and rush hour hindi ko kinaya hehe 900 ang price! A big NO!

Hindi ako gagastos ng gas worth 900 pesos one way kako ayun nag bus kame.

Tried the point to point bus, okay din! Tyagaan lang sa pila.

You want premium? Then you gotta pay.
