Lahat ng pasahero in all units of Uber and Grab are covered by insurance? Remind me, ano nga reason bakit ayaw tumanggap ng bagong franchise ang LTFRB.

well i'm not interested in Grab

so i didn't bother to read up on its history

i'm only interested in unicorns (companies with more than $10B valuation that haven't gone public yet -- meaning they're still privately held)

like Uber, Didi Chuxing, Airbnb etc

to be clear ung colorum na uber and grab lang ang huhulihin, and that the LTFRB is accusing the two companies of deliberately telling these colorum drivers to go on and take passengers kahit hindi sila officially granted ng prankisa.

Now if you are one of those colorum and mahuli ka sa akto, I highly doubt tutulungan ka ni uber/grab sa pang bayad mo ng multa, so this is where LTFRB is claiming how the two companies found themselves in a mess that they started, putting the drivers and operators at risk, syempre bitin sa kita since tinanggap nila tapos may huli pala.

If the requirements LTFRB is asking para maka grant ng new franchises ay fair or not I dont know rin, but the fact that the public support is huge sana they can find a compromise.

I could care less about them taxis. Never sila naki cooperate, Never nag improve, Never their fault, always the victim.

Until now, the LTFRB vs Uber/Grab controversy has been an administration vs private sector showdown. Patigasan ng ulo. But politics changes all that. So grab your popcorn and enjoy the show.
