for some reason the govt wants to squeeze out Uber/Grab

pretty obvious naman it's not about safety

the govt knows all uber/grab cars are tiny econocars or mits adventure

wala pa ako nakita 2.0 sedan na uber/grab

that disqualifies every uber/grab car out there

etong pag gipit sa mga jeepney and TNVS hindi about safety

    may agenda yan

    it's only disguised as safety

sa jeepney tingin ko may malaking special interest group behind it

pag na-phase out lahat ng jeepney they'll supply the vehicles to replace the jeepneys

etong pag gipit sa TNVS may agenda yan

    malaki pera dyan

    pag nawala ang uber/grab...

    HIRNA probably.

And may under the table un mag supply ng jeepney replacements. Kabi kabilang red tape nanaman pag natuloy ang modernization na to.

Kaso to be fair din sa TNV drivers, sana patapos sa kanila yung franchise nila bago sila ipagbawal pumasada...

Hindi 2.0 liter ang sedan na taxis ngayon. Kung size naman, remember the Kia Pride and Fiat taxis from not so long ago?

2000cc para malakas sa consumo ng gas.
In turn mas maraming makukuhang tax ang govt

Agree ako with the 2.0L rule... perfect sample ito na yung mga naka-upo sa LTO/LTFRB walang alam sa cars...

As for the Pride/Fiat... last "small" taxi na nakita ko is yung Picanto. Then nawala bigla... I "heard" na di na daw pwede yung sobrang liit na cars i-Taxi... Kaya smallest we have is the current gen Mirage G4.

nobody can afford to operate 2.0 sedan taxis/tnvs

aside from cost of purchasing the cars

ung kikitain versus cost of fuel/maintenance

    kelan mo mababawi?

basically they're gonna kill uber/grab partners

maybe that's the plan all along

Dahil kapag binangga sa likod passenger kaagad ang tatamaan kapag hatch ang ginamit na sasakyan?

I dont see their point though. Yung mga uv express nga may passengers din sa last row.

Out of touch palagi ang ltfrb sa realidad.

Pano naman yung nga nakasabit sa jeep na konting sagi lang, putol na ang paa? Dami mga pautot nyang ltrfb, di nila higpitan mga bus at jeep na nagbobox out para di sila maunahan ng kapwa jeep/bus
