My family and a couple of friends are going to Daet City this Thursday (March 28).

Any tips or reminders especially the road conditions? I am familiar with the road/route going to Naga City (as a passenger) but it will be my first time to Daet. So after Calauag, Quezon it will be unfamiliar road for me.

We'll come from LB, Laguna so no heavy traffic expected.

We came from LB (I live here) so we can;t avoid it hahaha.

Anyway, we left for Daet last Thursday.
We took the Nagcarlan-Lukban-Tayabas-Pagbilao route in anticipation of the traffic in San Pablo. All went well. We were not very fast as the road is not very wide for high speed driving. It took around 2 hours to reach Pagbilao.

Now, my officemate told me of a possible traffice in Gumaca or Lopez Quezon. Damn he was right. In Gumaca, it took more than an hour to move 5 kilometers towards the city center. In Lopez, it took longer to travel the 6 kilometers. Total waste of fuel and time.

After Lopez, Quezon smooth riding na.
