kaya nag mazda 323 yan kahit 1.3 kung top condition: bagong tune-up, newly changed oil at fully
checked ang brakes and fluids. doble ingat lang since me bata kayo kasama.
okey nga i-off ang a/c while going up. ramdam mo pagbaba ng klima. marcos hi-way para di matarik masyado compared sa kennon.
happy driving.![]()
Just went to Baguio last December before mag Xmas and also it was my first time. Dala ko Gen7 na Galant V6, so no questions asked kung makakaakyat. I'm with a couple and my gf. Traffic nga sa Urdaneta since yung daan sa town proper eh ginagawa. Di naman namin alam kung san ang alternative routes, basta kami just followed the road thru signs. You don need to turn on the a/c kung nasa Marcos Highway na kasi mas maappreciate mo yung daan and the environment. Mt Akina. hehehe
I don't know if this will be to your advantage pero kahit paano mababawasan yung pagkatraffic mo sa Urdaneta.
Lalabas ng San Jacinto at Manaoag then Pozorobio, Sison and finally Rosario Junction. We tried this last week (though hanggang San Jacinto lang kami). Just try to ask some kind folks kung saan yung papunta Sta Barbara pag nasa Urdaneta ka na...
Prime Hotel is along Session road.
mukhang init na init ka sa abroad, a! if i were you, i'd stick to baguio na lang and use your tagaytay budget to extend your stay in baguio. tagaytay is a mini, less exciting version of baguio (the only difference being the view of taal volcano and the local cuisine).
was in baguio this weekend to the enjoyment of my whole family. we usually go up in january to take advantage of the cold clime unlike during the summer months na di kasing lamig. buwelo ka lang going up marcos hi-way and you'll be fine.

I have been driving to Baguio all these years and the greatest and most intense hassle I have ever encountered is passing through Urdaneta. This darned city exists for only one reason and that is to make life thoroughly annoying and miserable for us motorists passing through. The public market and other commercial establishments at the main intersection are nuisance bottlenecks. That market burned down some years ago and they rebuilt a much bigger one! And recently they tore up the entire stretch of highway leading to the main intersection and but are repaving it only in small segments and at a leisurely pace at that. And, furthermore, the traffic controllers at the intersection have no sense of time since they give preference to traffic headed to and from Dagupan -- never mind the immense traffic building up along MacArthur Highway.
I don't think I will see any relief in my lifetime. Heaven knows when the next phase of the NLEX expansion will happen so as to allow us to bypass all these excruciatingly maddening bottlenecks in Tarlac and Pangasinan. The growth of tourism and commerce in the North will always be retarded if the Central Luzon impediments to faster traffic flow are not addressed. For me personally, going to Baguio will always entail night driving and a deep reservoir of patience on the road. :car:
How to go to Strawberry farm from Session road:
1. In order to be save yourself some hassle, just take the taxi from Session road and tell the driver to take you to strawberry farm (near entrance of Benguet State University last gate). It will not cost you a lot AFAIK.
2. The jeepney terminal going to La Trinidad is near Bagui City Hall.It is walking distance from session road (about 500 meters).
It is strawberry season already. Strawberries at strawberry farm costs about 100 pesos per kilo if you do the picking yourself. Im not sure about those which are hand picked already. Good luck !!![]()
Take Bocawcan Rd. It should take you to Trinidad Valley. This is the road intersecting the road going to Naguilian.
