    My wife would be travelling abroad with my kids ( ages > 10 yrs old). Do you need any special papers or permits?

    Used to be required, but not anymore. No more DSWD clearance required.
    Just bring a xerox copy of the child's birth certificate at baka hingin.

    Kahit ba only one of the parent lang ang kasama ng kid?

    WHO DOES NOT NEED TRAVEL CLEARANCE?

    A minor traveling to a foreign country with either parent or with his or her solo parent or legal guardian;

    A minor traveling abroad whose parents are in the Foreign Service or living abroad or are immigrants, provided he/she is holding a valid pass such as a dependents visa/pass/identification card or permanent resident visa/pass/identification card which serves as proof that he/she is living with parents abroad and their travel does not constitute child trafficking.

    if your kids passport (acquired by the mother ) kadalasan hanapin lang iyong birth certificate possible original dalhin mo , minsan kasi ayaw photo copy .. para walang hassle depende kasi sa mood ng immigration kung ano gusto niya hanapin.

    Noung 3 yrs old pa lang anak ko madalas ko isama uwi pinas dahil passport nga niya mother signature birth certificate ng bata at marriage contract lang ask sa akin immigration minsan nman hndi na.

    Alam ko required lang DSWD clearance pag iyong minor kids ay kung both parents ay hindi kasabay mag travel like pinakisabay lang sa mga relatives or friend meron mga requirements na hinihingi sa parents at sa kasama ng bata mag travel.

    My sister and her 11 year old daughter went out of the country last year, ni-require sa kanya ang letter from the DSWD. I don't know if that has something to do with my sis being a single-mom. Sabi ko pa nga mother na mismo yung kasama baket kailangan pa ng consent nung daddy. Pero para huwag ka na lang maabala just secure a copy of that DSWD letter and your kids' NSO certified BC.
