Travel Advisory: Byaheng Puerto Galera

Bago lang po ako dito.
Need travel advice: Sa manila po ako balak ko po dalin ang family ko sa Puerto Galera (First time to go there) using our Innova gas A/T.

1. Route from manila to Puerto galera? Travel time?
2. Best place at Puerto Galera?
3. Recommended place to stay there?

1) 4 hours travel time (Di ko alam yung route eh, bus lang ako). Pero wala atang Ro-Ro papuntang straight to Puerto Galera from Batangas port. Alam ko, sa Calapan ata yung destination ng Ro-Ro.
2) Sa white beach yung most popular.
3) Sa Marco Vincent, maganda pero medyo mahal (baka rin hindi kasi di peak season eh). Sa La Solana maganda rin.:fish:

hmmm... let's see. we were there last May. tsikot lang kami ni ms. byutipul.
ang target mo is Batangas Pier.
so biyahe ka SLEX hanggang dulo, daan ka sa STAR, then may mga signs naman kung
saan papunta batangas pier.
sa Batangas Pier may pay parking dun. maluwag naman siya. i forgot the rates but we
parked at around 4:30pm on a Friday, we left (going back to Manila) at around the
same time Sunday. we paid P250. maybe less.
by the way is this your first time going to Galera? if so, huwag mahiya magtanong.
since nasa parking ka na, magtanong ka sa guard kung san kukuha ng ticket.
White Beach is the usual place to go. (madami kasing puwedeng puntahan dun).
the place is somewhat similar to Boracay - madaming bars. madami din masarap na
kainan - at cheaper than Boracay. ('ika nga eh, poor man's Boracay)
ang room rates ranges from P1,500 - P2,500, depends on the season. tumawad ka
lang - again, huwag mahiya tumawad. lahat dito puwede mong tawaran. pati food.
kung wala kang reservations before going there, tambay muna kayo sa isang lugar.
tapos suyurin mo yung mga for rents duon to have an idea of the current rates. then
decide ka na kung saan ninyo gusto. onga pala, the rates get higher pag mag malaki
room na kukunin.

First time nga po kami pupunta ng Puerto Galera. Balak ko po sana dalin yung sasakyan (Innova) ko sa puerto galera. Pwede po kaya? Advisable po bang magdala ng sasakyan sa Puerto Galera? We are 5 persons (ako, si wifey at 3 kids) and will be staying there for 3 days.

You can bring your car if you want to pero d mo rin ito masyado magagamit. When i went there last October, i just left my car sa loob ng port area. May pay parking sila na covered and parating may bantay. Medyo mahal lang nga ang inabot. P400-500 for 4 days.


Ang route naman ay from SLEX go to StarToll(Expressway going to Batangas) Exit mo is Lipa City or dulo din ng StarToll (your choice na po) From the exit, marami ng signs along the road to guide you to reach the port.


The best place to stay is sa White beach. Kumpleto na kasi duon. Dami resort and kainan. Ok naman ang beach dun, just dont forget to buy water shoes for you and the whole family. Medyo mabato ang mga beach sa Puerto. Mura lang shoes. May makukuha ka sa SM ng P150-200( sa dept store )

Mura lang rooms dyan, P1500-2000 per night pwede pa tawaran. May 2 queen size beds, TV, Hot/Cold Shower, Airconditioned rooms.
