Sir Chieffy,
Actually, the most convenient and hassle-free to go to JB, Malaysia is to take a taxi from Queen Street, Bugis. I think it's SGD8 / person.

Correct si Chieffy. Dala kami ng umbrella for the wifey kasi mainit sa hapon.
Met with some pinoy professionals doon who were my former colleagues sa isang U.S. bank. They highly recommend that tourists try some of the hawker food stalls specially sa Lau Pa Sat.
Also nice to drink beer (Tiger Beer) sa Boat Quay (watering holes along the river). Ride the MRT going to Raffles Place interchange. Look for UOB Plaza and beside it is the Boat Quay row of restaurants and bars. Wholesome ang place notwithstanding the presence of pubs/bars.
last time ko punta sing was 2002 .. may bago ba na worth the time and money puntahan ?
(at hindi US Dollars into Sing$)
yung tax mo sa singapore kasama na, but you have to pay travel tax and terminal fee sa pilipinas.
