Our U.S. boss is coming over to the Philippines this month and we're looking for some souvenir items to give him. Item has to be available in Metro Manila

    What would you recommend?
It has to be something not so large so it would fit in his bag. Are food items recommended?(at least something na hindi harangin sa airport)

What's his nationality? Is he American?

We always give our expats Dried Mangoes. Our counterparts are mostly European and they really love dried mangoes. They even request for it when someone else comes to visit.

We buy food pasalubong at the outdoor section of Market Market. The food stalls are divided according to region. The smallest pack of R&M dried mangoes sell at the Cebu stall for 3 for 100.

Pasyal mo rin siya sa mga weekend market (Salcedo on Saturday, Legazpi or Sidcor on Sunday) so he can try different Filipino foods din. O kaya dalhin mo sa Dampa :P

If he is into collecting Starbucks mugs, then a Philippine or Manila Starbucks mug

And, corny as it seems, a refrigerator magnet is still a good souvenir item especially for frequent travellers

Walandyo bro.,- panghabambuhay na souvenir ang ireregalo mo naman sa kanya... ... Puwede ring bar hopping or pamasahe muna and play it by ear.... Minsan, nagdala kami sa Ermita at nag-bar-hopping,- nanuod pa ng wet t shirt contest,- tapos nagtatanong na ng escort service ang mokong.....

A lot of our American visitors would like to go to Hard Rock Cafe and get a Hard Rock Cafe Manila T-Shirt.... Seriously, it is a big thing for them... Iyong iba ginawa itong pick-up point.....

A few like to visit Starbucks to buy Starbucks Mugs- Manila.

Greenhills for you-know-what items, is also a regular itinerary for them.... Miniature jeepneys are also a hit with them.... Manny Pacquiao shirts, too....

Yup,>>> dried mangoes, polvoron, pastillas de leche are hits with our counterparts in Corporate....

Packaged(historical) tours are what some prefer.... Corregidor, Fort Santiago, Old Churches.....

Or Tagaytay, Pagsanjan, Subic Bay, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Palawan.....

I always bring our expat visitors to Tesoro's along Arnaiz Ave. Then pay for whatever gets their fancy (at company expense of course).

Food items are fine as long as it is packed properly (no leaks).
