oo, ok talaga yang mindoro sling na yan. Sinasabayan pa nga namin ng barbecue yan eh. dahil sa mindoro sling na yan, may nakilala kaming group of girls. hehehe. torpe pa kaming lahat nun ha?

tama sila, you should try snorkeling there. Basta galingan niyo din mag-haggle sa boatmen para mas tipid. Tas ask them to take you to the best snorkeling site. Dala na din kayo ng water para after snorkeling, may maiinom kayo. I also agree na you should bring your own snorkeling gear. If you have fins, much better Para di na kailangan magbayad sa rent, tska hindi kayo nakikipag lips to lips with others who borrowed the gear.

If you will bring along your kids, I suggest you stay in Big Lalaguna or Small Lalaguna areas. They have white fine sand; and accomodations/amenities(jetski, banana boat, snorkeling, dive shops, swimming pools, spas, massage area, bar, garden, etc.)there are fantastic compared to White beach. No offense to White Beach lovers...i'm also a white beach fanatic before I discovered the Big & Small Lalaguna coves.

Try Club Mabuhay, El Galleon, Lalaguna Beach Club or Portofino. You can also try Coco Beach or Encenada Beach resort but their prices are quite high.

For diving and dive shops, the best place to go is El Galleon or La Laguna Beach Club in Small & Big lalaguna area.

For night life(boozing, girls, billiards, etc) - you should try the Sabang area. Nightlife there is 24/7 just like in Boracay. Be careful when going there though.

if you'll be staying there for 3 days only, and you plan to dive, i suggest you get certified before going there. Madami dive schools here in manila: aquaventure, aqua-one, scubaworld etc. (if you need numbers just PM me). Kahit within one week (or even less), certified ka na!

looks safe enough, having your whole family together! pwede po bang makahingi ng travel tips? Pinaplano ko po kasi ang ganyan by June e. I wanna do the exact same thing...dalhin ang ride ko, and the whole family!

BTW, di pa ako nakarating dyan sa bandang Batangas....it will be a 1st time, and any inputs from you folks will be appreciated...(iipunin ko nga ang thread na ito and then print ko pag pupunta na ako...)

-how to get to the Batangas port, which ferry is advisable, magkano ang mga rates, ah well......kahit na anong mai-share nyo...

just came from galera 3 days and 2 nights.Thursday 1k lang yung room naging 2k Friday.Pero we transferred to another resort kasi 1 day stay lang kami di pwedeng mag extend.Buti na lang may tumulong sa ming tour guide para makahanap nung second day.Kawawa yung iba dahil walang mahanapan nung Friday.

pag nasa white beach kami, grabe kami tumawad sa rooms. Kapalan na talaga ng mukha. minsan nag gi-give in sila eh, especially kung hindi pa madami ang tao. one time naisarado namin ng 750 for three nights. ayos ba? hehehe!

two years ago dito kami nag summer outing ng company namin Coral Cove, Puerto Galera. ok sya pero medyo pricey din; buti nalang sagot ng company yung overnight stay amin. meron din sila beginners diving course and certification. i think nasa $300 yun.

mindoro sling is rhum based - 1 lapad ng tanduay, sprite, mango juice, pineapple juice tapos pipigaan ng ilang pirasong calamansi. they also put a shot of grenadine pero mas masarap pag wala nun.
