could you guys suggest places to go, things to do in bangkok?
we'll be there for 4-5days.

places to go bargain shopping:

1) chatuchak weekend market
2) mbk (near the national stadium)
3) patpong
4) world trade center


places to see:

1) grand palace
2) wat po temple
3) floating market (if time permits)
4) pattaya (if time permits)

places to dine:

1) anna's cafe (soi saladaeng st. try their prawn cakes, it's the best!)
2) somboon seafood restaurant (chong non see rd.)
3) brew pavillion (ratchadapisek road)
4) various restaurants in and around world trade center


and don't forget to try the traditional thai massage. it's a must.

anyways, we went to this park or something... galing ng mga shows (western / cowboy, james bond, monkey, dolphin, etc)... will post on monday the name... medyo malayo nga lang...

patpong is a bit overpriced though... even the westerners have learned to haggle... don't be afraid to haggle it to half the price...

Wag ka sasakay ng TUK TUK... may mag o offer ng cheap fare tapos dalhin ka kung saan saan jewelry store may kimisyon sila pag may na bili ka.. kunsumisyon aabutin mo.. kaskasero pa mag drive..

kung lakad binata, check out the whole stretch of ratchadapisek road and try the MODERN thai massage. very professional service. price range between 1,200 - 3,500 baht. the higher the better. hehe. wala ka nang makikitang ganyang good service dito sa pinas. just wear capote.

condoms aren't 100% foolproof IMHO. plus the fact that thailand has one of the highest AIDS cases in Asia, due to prostitution and very rampant drug use.
