3 days will never be enough. Why? Because the 1st and last days are always travel days where you fly, travel from/to airport to/from hotel, check in/out. Especially when you travel with kids like I do ubos na oras mo sa 1st day checking in pa lang and settling in.

List down where you want to go. Research travel times. Give allowance waiting for transport. Better yet, join a tour group so you do not need to worry about transport.

for sure kulang ang 3 days. tapos thu night pa, so totally wasted na thu.

taiwan is super easy to navigate. there's a train from taoyuan airport to taipei, takes about 30mins. most taipei touristy places are accessible by subway, like taipei 101, chiang kai shek memorial, etc.

be sure to eat at the night markets. preferably a different night market every night

avoid the crappy tourist traps like shifen waterfalls, juifen old street, etc

taiwan is super convenient. even their money is super easy to figure out. lowest denomination is $1. you won't get bogged down with pennies like in the US

important: there are no money changers in taiwan, you change at banks, airports, and certain malls only. so be sure to have ATMs ready in case you need cash

From cebu, your direct flights options are Tiger Air, AirAsia and Eva Air. Just check on they respective websites for your days of travel to find out the cheapest. Also note the flight schedules, sometimes the flight arrives late at night, so even if the air fare is very cheap, you will be spending for an additional night for your hotel.

We rented a room from Agoda in Ximending last year for a 5 day/4 night trip, sobrang bitin pa samin yun. Location was great, pagbaba ng building 2-3 min walk lang yung train station pati yung mga tindahan. [emoji16]
