imo driving licence from country of origin is acceptable to the host country but not the passport. our licence is valid only for one month for some nations but longer to others.

You cannot use your passport as driver's license here but you can use your foreign driver's license pursuant to reciprocity treaties for a period of time.

International Driving License, yes. As of a few years ago, not sure about now. Had an international D.L when I frequently vacationed here, but I was never stopped or checked.

you cant use your passport alone, you need your (other country) drivers license and passport with stamp of entry to be able to use it here, after 30 days you need to convert it to a philippine drivers license.
