Driving around the metro, I observed that there seems to be a whole lot less christmas decors and lights this season than in the previous seasons. Does that mean people don't feel the season (yet) or they are saving their money for other things like food and gifts?

Even my sister mentioned they will not be putting up their christmas tree this year.

We have the same amount of decor but less christmas lights. I got scared of all the accidents that happened from defective christmas lights.

haay . . . those really were the days my friends.

It's really sad that there's not enough of them up, but with electricity costs really high, you can't really blame people for just foregoing the decorative lights.

kami din sir, menos sa decors pero we see to it na we decorate even in the minimum kasi we need to show the kids the spirit of x-mas kahit medyo kapos for them to appreciate and to know the real meaning of the season. besides, minsan lang po ito sa isang taon idinaraos...

before kasi september pa lang may mga christmas lights na sa paligid,,, ngayon few weeks or even few days before christmas na lang nagkakabit sa mga bahay... dahil nagtitipid sa kuryente... pag dating naman ng mismong ara ng pasko... di pa din nawawala ang mga handa, kasiyahan at bigayan... dyan hinding hindi nawawala ang spirit of christmas...

    mga inaanak nadadagdagan hehehe...

    side note...

observation: less christmas decors
