ayaw kong mag english kasi pinoy naman tayo dito e.. pero kanya kanya lang diskarte yan e.. kung yung iba gustong gastusin ang pera nila for themselves hayaan natin sila tutal pera naman nila yun e and atleast they're enjoying the money that they earned. sabi nga ng iba aanhin mo ang pera mo kung patay ka na. you don't know kung kelan ka mamamatay. kahit sabihin mo na nasa kwarto ka nakahiga pagnapatakan ka ng ligaw na bala im sure tigok ka. kaya sa iba e ginagastos nila pera nila kasi dun sila nagiging masaya. Some people save lots of money kaya pagtanda nila hindi na nila alam kung ano gagawin nila sa pera nila. they didn't even enjoyed their money nung bata pa sila. kaya kahit ako at mga kapatid ko sinasabihan namin magulang namin na wag nilang tipirin sarili nila dahil hindi nman nila madadala sa hukay ang pera nila. If they want to take a vacation and spend all their money there then that's their choice kasi pera nila yun e.
ang bottom line is. gawin mo kung ano gusto mong gawin sa pera mo at gagawin nila ang gusto nilang gawin sa pera nila. If you don't want to spend your money then that's your choice. kung gusto mo ispend lahat ng pera mo at mangutang ka ng mangutang go ahead and do it buhay mo yan e gawin mo kung ano gusto mong gawin. ako hindi malaki sweldo ko but i buy what i want kasi pera ko naman yun e.

August 5th, 2005 04:23 PM #26.. america doesn't have a monopoly of mga pakitang tao .. they drive v8s with rising gas prices .. yung pinoys are toting expensive cellphones but only do text .. i'm sure if people here can afford cars instead of cellphones .. we would be driving v8s as well ... ... but i understand your point ... parang warped priorities ... pero para sa iba naman, therapeutic ...

August 5th, 2005 04:41 PM #29Maybe I'm in the minority here, but the problem I think is there are
are a few people who just can't help but to stick their noses in other
people’s business.
and that alone occupies a large chunk of our brain memory. purge this, and
start anew.
I watched a documentary before about a tourist who visited Russia shortly after the cold war. sabi niya: "Russia is literally a not so colorful country. There were no advertisements everywhere, in the streets, in the trains, in the terminals and even in the TV. It has a few but not worth remembering."
She also revealed that bec. of that situation, she felt really bored but experienced something different. Suddenly, she was not being too materialistic -> the mentality
that I must have this, I must wear that, I will look good in this, I can also look as
good as this model etc .... She had peace, inner that is ... for the entire moment she
stayed in Russia.
