i've heard an australian embassy consul this morning sa elevator. ang hirit eh. "i'm really gettin' confused ohn this government..." kasi nga last week, hirit sila ng hirit na hindi nila i-dedeclare yung monday as a holiday, ngayon biglang kabig sila....
kakaasar na talaga gobyerno natin. footah!

di ba june 12 ang real holiday it's a sunday...sana they let it be na lang..
if it fall on a tuesday ok lang move to monday or if thursday move na lang on friday.
pero kung weekend dapat pabayaan na lang....

ngayon dahil nag fall sa sunday gusto gawing monday, which imho is uncalled for...
papalipat ko yung bday ko this year sa friday kasi nag fall siya ng thursday.

June 10th, 2005 06:03 PM #19Just make that 1day off still productive. Pero I agree with Kimpoy too on holiday that falls on weekend stay as is. The essence of holiday is to give time to commemorate the historical event and there is nothing more better than doing it on weekends.
