Manila to Cebu by land

afrasay--huwag kang sumakay ng mga cebu ferries kase talagang mahal. hindi ko lang sigurado kung may hotel or lodging house sa palompon but lately kase marami na ang dumada an dyan dahil sa ferry and the direct boat to manila so palagay ko mayron na hotel. other option is to sleep in ormoc city doon sa SABIN Resort mura at maganda then you can take the super shuttle ferry to cebu. january is okay tapat mo sa sinulog 3rd sunday.
happiman--pwede rin ang route na yan. nag promote pa nga si GMA. suggest ko lang coming to cebu using the batangas-mindoro-iloilo-bacolod-cebu route then going back cebu-leyte-samar-sorsogon-bicol-quezon-Manila mukhang nakakapagod ah suggest ko lang.

Alfred basta andyan ako sa Pinas... no problem sama ako dyan hehehehe sarap yata mag road trip.. pagamit ulit ng Patrol mo hehehe feeling mayaman pag gamit ko yan... kaya naman ng whole day ang Manila to caticlan diba.. mga 7PM dating don

Kaya siguro...kasi Manila-Batangas is just about 3 hrs, Bats-Mindoro siguro 2 hrs including waiting time. Landtrip in Mindoro to the other side is around 170Km yata so that's another 3 hrs. RORO to Roxas this i'm not sure kung ilang hours (say maybe 2 hrs din)....Roxas to Caticlan is probably an hour...total roughly of 11hours travel to at most 14 hours including stop-over....

the road from manila to matnog is generally fair. i drove my genesis coupe from manila to davao using this road last september 2009. during this time the road from allen to calbayog was not so good but construction of the road was on going. from calbayog to catbalogan and tacloban the road was very nice.

just don't drive along samar road in the night. there are lots of not so nice people on the streets. hold-ups are very common.

sama ako kung next year pa plano nyo, siguro tapos na marestore yung LC60 ko sa panahon na yan, btw ilang sasakyan ba ang kasya sa barko, baka marami na tayo at hindi kumasya sa isang barko.

from bacolod to cebu there are a lot of routes, the longest one is the one mentioned bacolod-dumaguete-santander-cebu. it will take you almost 7 hours to reach your destination. the shortest route is bacolod-san carlos-cebu via the trans highway which will take you only 3-4 hours travel time.
