I've talked to afrasay yesterday and it sounds like the plan will push thru as planned this coming summer months. Probably after holy week vacation daw. His rig is in its final tune up process.

Alam ko from Manila to Davao, it takes 2.5~3 days ang byahe by land. Add 3.5 hours, dun na kayo sa province namin sa CBO.

wreckless::: Baka abutin daw ng 5 days yung trip na binabalak, including weekends. Para 3 day leave lang sa office.

Ok yan wag naman sana ma tapat na wala ako dyan para maka sama ako.... Di bale ma missed ko mga offroad wag lang yan hehehehe..

Basta may kasama na SAFARI sama ako dyan para may hahatak sakin pag nag break down Gen 1 ko...

kelan ba Holyweek next year???? umabot sana sako

pwedeng pwede, kaya lang unlike sa SUV or cars pwedeng maisingit sa mga gilid ng bus/truck. You'll have to wait for your turn talaga. Strict sa Matnog and allen, may number systems silang sinusunod, now if your suv/car is fit sa gilid, mauuna sila. This was my personal expe, using trooper and E150.

Mayroon pang isang route....land trip from Manila to Batangas...RORO to Oriental Mindoro land trip across to Occidental Mindoro...RORO to Panay Island (Roxas City yata and daong)...land trip to Ilo-ilo...RORO to Bacolod City and then Land Trip to Dumaguete City....RORO to Cebu (Santander)....

just my 2 cents.

ay mali! di pa pala kami dadaan ng Iloilo dahil sa Boracay pala ang punta. from Roxas City deretso na pala yun sa Caticlan then iwan duon ang mga rigs then boat na goin to Boracay...

i have tried already wen i bought my crosswind i travelled by land all the way to cebu. nakakapagud but its worth the experienced. bale three days yung travel kase maraming stop over hindi kase ako nag travel kung gabi to be safe. i made a stop over in quezon, ligaspi, tacloban. maraming lugar na mada da anan resort, seafood resto mga handicraft, fruits bale every province mayron kanyang specialty. puno nga yung xwind ng kung ano anong soviner na mada anan.

I have a question... What preparations do you usually do before making long distance trips like this? I mean, what parts of the vehicle needs more conditioning for a rigorous inter-island travel like this?

Yup its the same route sir happiman....pakanan ka lang (north bound) when you reach roxas....ilo-ilo would be pakaliwa (south bound bale)....from there cebu would be just an island away (Negros)....

suggest ko lang, mag partner na kayo ni happiman, kailangan talaga alternate driver unless may sleepover sa Legaspi, and Tacloban.

7391N:::regular tune up, bring extra belts (fan,PS, aircon), hose (radiator). In my case I bought the car 2nd hand, I need to inspect/change my clutch system.
check your tires and spare. bring food, extra clothing.

cebuboy:::last time we were at Leyte eh 7,000+ ang ferry to Cebu, grabe ang mahal! Kaya dumiretso na kami ng Mindanao.
hmmm... kung gayan lang pede mag cebu, january kaya.
wala bang hotel sa palompon,leyte para pag-gising sakay na lang barko?

wreck, hapi, night, ungas, kim, red:::mag vacation kami after holy week 5 working days so total of 9 days for our boracay trip.
