April 22nd, 2008 10:47 PM #2Well even before we left still undecided where to go while driving we finally agreed lets try CME pacific in real quezon.. left 7am used the route ortigas ave. antipolo zigzag tanay pililla zigzag famy zigzag(35km to real, zigzag here get dizzy pills) route we arrived at 9:30am and its raining over here and abit cold, but to our dismay theres 8 big buses already there and its so full that we cant even have a cottage to use cant even enter... so we ask around and decided to go further and reach infanta quezon which is another 25km away from real.. good thing we are good for offroad as roads semi paved.. we ask around which is most expensive and nicer one around and ended here.. still had a nice time with the family
TOTAL KM in this route 140KM from mandaluyong tunnel
we went home 5pm use another route the SLEX route which is 42 km more
ended up with 2 more hours of driving TOTAL KM for this ROUTE IS 182km for 5 hours Calamba traffic was so bad and SLEX is not an
expressway its a parking lot at nighttime..

You may want to try Canyon Cove in Nasugbu Batangas (just after the Wawa junction). It has huge pools (heated until nighttime!) and also a nice beach with jetskis if that's your thing. They are not strict about bringing in your own food, basta no cooking lang. If you want to stay overnight, they have big rooms recently upgraded lang na kasyang kasya ang 6-7 people.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
